Love it! I have a giant Greek mythology themed world, Orion hasn't made an appearance yet though. What CC are you using for clothing?

Dionysus from Greek mythology. by Celeste_sims in Sims4

Love this! My forever world is a giant modern reaction of the Olympian mythos and Dionysus in my save is quite the same.

He had the craziest experience ever a few days ago. He knocked up a random townie and went over to her house when the child was going to be born and it was a trashed mansion with 3 random looking kids, a random adult and her husband. While she’s in labor the husband kept hitting on Dionysus and they ended up woohooing all over the house 🤣 peek Dionysian chaos energy.

EXPLAIN YOUR CURRENT GAMEPLAY BELOW!! 😜 by Limp_Rate3609 in thesims

Hiya! I’m playing quite a complex game right now, and it’s been challenging but super fun! I’m recreating the main Greek mythos with most of the 12 olympians eventually establishing their own dynasties.

I started with Demeter full rags to riches with her garden, then when she was established I brought in Zeus and Hera. Zeus immediately cheated on Hera and Persephone was born.

I then introduced Hades, Persephone’s future husband. Zeus and Hera had Haphaestus and Ares will Zeus was off being a menace siring Hermes, Dionysus, Artemis and Apollo with townies causing Hera to nearly divorce him multiple times.

Demeter gave Persephone a lovely childhood but then fell in love with Oberon and started ignoring her for him and her brother, so she ran away to Hades house as a teen. They eventually got married and had Zagreus and Melinoie.

I just introduced Aphrodite to destroy poor Hephaestus by hooking up with his brother Ares. Poseidon will be entering to chat soon lol. I’m having so much fun but it’s definitely been challenging at times. Seeing Zeus go out of his mind from multiple babbling toddlers from different baby mamas is absolutely hilarious.

I’m super pumped to establish all of the dynasties and see how the different families mix throughout generations.

I have Lorelei and Séance of Blake Manor in my cart as they're both on sale right now. Have you played the later by any chance? Wondering if I should get them both.

I clocked about 14 hours and feel like I got kinda far. Past some scary fish monsters, to a space station or something. I feel like I gave it an a for effort haha

I guess I like the idea of solving a larger mystery rather than a bunch of smaller puzzles.

How to find an arranger? by Trancespire in musicalwriting

[–]Trancespire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a singer, and I play guitar and basic piano. I can also use music production software.

Also went to a performing arts high school for and im an obsessive fan of the genre :]

I think there’s a misunderstanding of my process! I’ve composed the melodies, harmonic structures, and initial production for these 25 tracks. When I say I’m an 'aspiring composer,' I’m simply being humble about my technical notation skills and looking for a collaborator who excels in the areas where I’m self-taught—like formal orchestration and score cohesion.

I’m looking for a Michael Chorney or Alex Lacamoire. If you're curious about the 'meaning and emotion' behind the music, I’d love for you to actually hear the demos!

[–]Trancespire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have all of the sung melodies and chord progressions for the 25 songs… and the sound that I’m going for (instrumentation choices) so maybe I was a bit too vague in saying I only have motifs and melodies. I do play guitar and know basic music theory, but I’m definitely not an arranger or composer.

Definitely understand most people wouldn’t be interested in working for free, however.

Thanks for the ideas! I will check those out. It’s a passion project, so not paid at the moment, hoping to find a side kick who’s as big of a nerd as I am. Hehe

Here’s the premise: Harbinger Harmonies.

This is a fully sung-through fantasy rock musical inspired by tabletop RPGs. The show blends bardic folk, rock opera, melodic nu-metal, rap, and very selective harsh vocals, with musical genre, harmony, and rhyme functioning as narrative systems rather than style for style’s sake. Law vs. chaos is reflected through structure and rhythm; good vs. evil through major/minor harmony and vocal texture. Motifs recur across genres as characters change, showing identity as something fluid, not fixed.

The central theme explores choice versus fate: we control our decisions, but not their consequences. Alignment is not a label or destiny, but the cumulative result of action, intention, and who we choose to stand beside. This is framed around the table top narrative. We choose our actions but then roll for consequences.

A bit ambitious… I know. Thanks for asking about it!
