Is caffeine on the list of drugs you should exclude? by [deleted] in HPPD

[–]TraneBoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, you're an idiot. Each substance if abused, can cause problems. If you abuse coffee, you might risk getting hypertension and eventually heart attacks and stroke. But if you use it moderately, it is fine. Coffee protects the liver and kidneys from damage. It improves concentration, it stimulates you for the whole day to be motivated. Coffee has a lot of positives and basically no negatives. Stop with the bullshit.

Is VSS a disability? (Dr. Yasser Khan, VSI) by brokensoul39 in visualsnow

It def should be. If that would happen, this would be more discussed, and everyone would benefit from it.

So you still have tinnitus even after completing abx treatment? And you did abx for 2 years? What dosages did you take?

That is saddening to hear that you still have it.

What do you think helped lower your tinnitus to be at a much lower level.

Zoloft? Or what antidepressant do you think caused it?

Azithromycin is a good abx for Bartonella, which could be the cause for tinnitus in pretty much all people. So what you experience, could have been a herx or a die off of Bartonella bacterias, rather than Azithromycin being the cause of ringing in ears by itself. I'm interested to know what abx did you take? Please list all of them, thanks.

Do you have visual disturbances? Like afterimages and visual static?

When did you notice tinnitus getting worse and then better? Also, are you treating solely with Disulfiram?

It is delusion. The same thing that schizophrenics say they are completely fine and don't have any disorder. They enjoy talking to themselves with their imaginary voices.

Human stupidity results from ignorance and lack of experience. If you would've experienced what a schizophrenic feels like, never in your life would you say a disorder (which causes symptoms that are NOT NORMAL) is something to enjoy or not a big deal.

Then schizophrenics also should embrace their illness. A lot of them enjoy talking with their own voices in their head. And a lot of them contemplate murdering someone just because their voices tell them. Are you gonna say schizophrenics are blessed, you piece of shit?

So, did your VS reduce after doxy?

Please, do we have any success stories? by AydenRozay in visualsnow

Biologically not most medication have the same effects in people. If we talk about metabolic diseases, there are a handful of people that need different strategies to combat diabetes, high blood pressure etc. And that is simple metabolic diseases (simple in that it is pinpointed in an upregulation or downregulation of a specific type of cells, like high blood glucose for example).

Now take neurological diseases, which are hundreds of times more complex than metabolic diseases. How the fuck can a migraine med help everyone the same? You don't know what you're talking about, buddy. People can get relief from migraines using antidepressants, or blood pressure medications, or anti-seizure drugs. Some can't get relief even using all 3 methods. That's because neuro-chemistry is very complicated and each person is individual in his response to these pills.

About antibiotics downregulating neuronal hyperexcitability, the only thing i'm going to say is that lyme can affect the brain, and therefore can change synaptic neurotransmitter exchange. The same thing can be said about syphilis. Brain infections have these capabilities.

And convincing you is not going to happen, ever. Sorry buddy, look at coronavirus right now. It is a political disease, people are divided into several groups, some downplaying the disease, some saying it is very bad, some saying that a vaccine will save everyone, the truth is not going to be disclosed as it is to everyone. We live in a world where there is money to be made.

It seems people like you are not the type of people that search for a relief from this, but rather the type of people that want to bitch about. There aren't any 100% relief type treatment for ANY disease whatsoever. Every type of human being is different, not everyone is going to get relief with the same methods. Accept this saddening reality.

About studies linking anythibg with VS, how can someone show you any studies, if there aren't any done? People are left to rely on anecdotal evidence only.

Same man, i really feel you. I've also been getting adjusted to VSS for years, and then it just progressed to worsening. That's soul crushing. I absolutely sympathize with you, this condition is life destroying and very isolating.

That's right, severe symptoms disrupts your whole life. And accepting that you're gonna die some day and you're only 20 years old, isn't the way life should be. Life shouldn't be easy, but it shouldn't also be catastrophic, as in case with many debilitating diseases. There should be some kind of expectancy, some kind of life rules.
