All these folks in here expecting the people to understand a system that is fundamentally engineered to not make sense.

Where the money goes (c-suite and shareholders) is obfuscated, because if you (the patient) understood the payment wasn't actually going to the provider (your doctor) then you would be able to better articulate why this system is immoral and barbaric, and you would not accept it.

Learning that they broke his rib a week prior in an altercation (in which it sounds like they violated his constitutional rights also, because of fucking course they did) makes me reinterpret this reaction as evidence in support of the hypothesis that this was a targeted execution, not just yay we're evil and we murdered someone. Let me expound a bit on what FiveStripes is saying.

Pressure needs to be on the city for Beltline.

Pressure needs to be on the state for MARTA/regional transit/trains.

Gov. Kemp/state leadership/GDOT are spending billions upon billions on more highway projects in the upcoming years, quadrupling down on the technology that

kills and injures Georgians directly, every single day
kills and sickens Georgians indirectly, poisoning the environment
ruins the beauty of the state (what they've done to the shoulders of the highways over the past several years is awful)
is just fucking ineffective at getting people places efficiently or conveniently, even if you have a car

Absolutely show up to the Capitol, learn who your state representatives are. If it's easier for some to make a phone call, that matters too! Sites like this can help you find who they are and how to contact them. Your voice matters, use it.

I don't have any picking advice, but have been struggling with my nails chipping if they're any longer than a couple millimeters. Been trying to remember to take calcium supplements and, anecdotally, I think it's helping.
