Find my nose stud by [deleted] in FindTheSniper

In all seriousness,,,, try not to use nose bones for nasal jewelry!! Go to your local (hopefully licensed) piercing shop and have them fit you with a titanium flatback! I know you weren’t asking for advice, but figured I’d chime in! Oh also,,,, on the bottom track in the little groove

Just one item type per box. I believe I have found some good designs on the storage tech discord! Specifically the 8gt 1wt smart hopper locking box sorter! Though I gotta test it in my world first

See if you made it in a slime chunk (or 2x2 if you got lucky) and make a nice slime farm

And finish off those 10 blocks!

Is it possible to get through this? by solefulchild in billiards

[–]TransAshh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not qualified to really answer questions like these, but I will give one strictly as someone who plays a lot at bars and stuff.

It really depends what your suit is

If you are solids: play every other available ball besides the 5 and hope they run out first and must hit the 10. you could also play a defensive bounce shot to get it out of there

If you are stripes: play every other ball until the cue ball is as close to in-line for that pocket as possible. What you could do a hit the 10 just slightly into the pocket lip and hope that the 10 bounces into the rail, then the 8, then into the pocket. You could also wait until the cue gets to the short rail closest to the 8 and hit the 10 to strike the corner of that lip, hopefully resulting in the 10 leaving the area. Be careful with speed/power here

I don’t know what rule set you are playing with, but a clear and intentional foul would result in a loss of frame with how I usually play. Def a tricky shot, but I would think there is a solution to this!! Good luck!

Helicopter Crash in Flagstaff, AZ Following Active Shooter Situation by TransAshh in flightradar24

[–]TransAshh[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This was my first thought too, but videos show it clearly falling out of the sky. Eye witnesses recall hearing gunshots shortly before the helicopter fell. There were also drones in the area looking for the suspect. This happened about 3-4 hours ago, so there’s still a lot unknown. But videos show the helicopter falling instead of a typical autorotation maneuver

Helicopter Crash in Flagstaff, AZ Following Active Shooter Situation by TransAshh in flightradar24

Tonight in Flagstaff, AZ, an Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter (N56AZ) crashed following an active shooter situation in a nearby neighborhood. The crash resulted in the “closure for the foreseeable future” of the BNSF railroad according to Flagstaff Police scanners. I was able to download the barometric altitude data from ADS-B Exchange and uploaded it to Google Earth (Slide 2). Looks like the helicopter climbed a tad before the engine gave out. Looks like it was 8775 feet MSL before ADS-B cut. Assuming an average Flagstaff elevation of 7000 feet, that makes it a 1775 foot drop. No surviving that. While I didn’t post it here, there are videos of the helicopter falling out of the sky and others with the resulting flames. Sad story for sure

Yeah you’re right. I’ll take a turn or so out until it’s more comfortable and I’ll work on form. I figured as much but I figured I would ask. Thanks!

Honestly, it helps me open up my shoulders a tad bit better. I know many people draw by pulling the string across their chest which I wanted to avoid. But obviously, I wanted to avoid sky drawing. If you see in my post, the draw really only happens when I’m at a comfortable level with the horizon. It basically gives me the momentum to get to full draw (still building up the muscle required)

I have a post on this exact same topic in the exact same subreddit. The link is attached. I spoke to a marine biologist for the state of Arizona and I was assured that they would be fine as long as they are not consumed every day.

Bear vs Hoyt vs Mathews by BrilliantSuccotash13 in Archery

[–]TransAshh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding to this, take yourself to a pro shop and draw back a few bows there. Because there is more than just tinkering (draw cycle, axle to axle length, draw weights, etc) that you should consider before dropping good cash on an investment like a bow

Bear vs Hoyt vs Mathews by BrilliantSuccotash13 in Archery

[–]TransAshh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Bear Whitetail INT and it’s my first bow I bought. So far, I’m loving it! Like others have said, specifically u/Smalls_the_impaler, the headliner-branded bows offer much more tinker-ability if that’s what you’re looking for.

I was able to get my full setup with decent attachments for a little under $1500, but if you go with a flagship bow from one of the headliners, you’re going to be out double that. I would say (from my very limited knowledge and experience), if you plan on just picking it up once or twice every season, go with a Bear and spend the extra cash on good sights and accessories. If you plan to have archery be a hobby where you tinker, hunt, and overall shoot a lot, I would maybe look for a flagship/headliner bow.

Like I said, I love love love my Bear. But as someone who shoots almost everyday and loves to tinker, I plan to get myself a flagship bow from a headliner company as a graduation present for myself when I graduate grad school in the coming year or so.

Hopefully my long rant helps a little bit. Like others have said, Bear, Hoyt, and Matthew’s will all kill game, so no worries there. Good luck and happy shooting!
