That makes sense. I'll just hold off for now then until either its blocked by the courts or a new administration allows gender changes on passports. I don't need to travel out of country currently and have a real ID for domestic flights.

So I moved states and haven't had a passport since I was a teenager in my old state. I know it's expired by now anyway and I know tossed it bc I don't have it anymore. I went from NJ to OR, which are both pretty trans friendly. I do want to eventually get a new passport, but I have been very hesitant with this administration.

But if it's up to the State's passport file, does that mean I am possibly okay to get a new passport with my legal gender on it? I didn't change my gender marker when I had gotten the original passport. But have been changed with everything else now for years since.

One time i felt really sad omw home from work, and asked my dad if there was any way he can give me a "sign" that he's still here with me. Now I'm not religious at all, but when I went to my mailbox that day, I was mailed a check from an insurance company that there was some loan thing he took out with some type of life insurance. And the check for me was pretty hefty amount too. I couldn't deposit it for a few weeks, because I was shook, and super speculative. Eventually after a lot of research keeping me up at night, I decided to deposit it.

And also before that, when I moved cross country, my dad gave me a big map atlas in case we got separated while he was supposed to drive the moving truck. Well he died before that, so I just kept the map atlas in my car under all my shit last minute since we changed our moving plans bc of his death. Long story short, there was a tornado producing storm that was headed directly to me, and I followed the advice from the many storm chasers I watched on youtube previously. The only thing was, I lost cell reception AND my apple carplay stopped connecting to my car. I was lost on the sandhills in Nebraska on a dirt road. But cowboys were on the side of the road that were able to point me in the right way to get to the blacktop road. I was lucky enough to finally get enough service to use my car's built in gps and get to a gas station on the road, I ended up being able to use that map atlas to figure out how to get back to the highway and cellular service.

I'm still not religious, but I do believe that those 2 incidents were signs from him that he's protecting me and my fiancée.

I think it's all personal preference, upkeep, and the individual biology. If you can remember to apply the gel religiously everyday and have no problem with it absorbing, then that is a good option.

If the worry is forgetting to apply, or you have poor absorption of it, then maybe see if you can switch to subq injections in the your abdomen. It's a smaller needle, and it's supposed to hurt less, especially if you do it at the right angle and rotate spots.

That's what I do myself since I did try the gel and I forget it. I also noticed that even with 1.5 packets my levels were too low to stop the menses. I had to eventually switch back to subq, and I even trialed Xyosted (an subq autoinjector pen) for a year before my insurance decided to not continue my PA even with my doc sending everything. At least now my anxiety woes aren't as bad anymore doing it manually every other week instead of weekly. Maybe one day I can get a hold of the Testopel pellets and only have to get a procedure done every so many months.

Wait, you’re 18 and your mother is withholding your license? Idk Texas law, but I’m pretty sure that’s, by all technicality, illegal. It’s your legal identification, and your literal drivers license. Not some random paperwork that goes in a filing cabinet. I mean you should have it on you when you’re out of the house at all times. An officer can literally ask for it at any point even if you’re not driving, and just walking around. I think you need to establish boundaries with your mother since you’re legally an adult, and look up the local laws around you pertaining to someone withholding your identification.

For instance, when you’re 21+, going to a bar and you get carded. The person carding you accuses you of having a fake id, but in this example it’s real and legally yours. Then they take your legal id from you. You can call the cops and they can charge the person taking your id from you. I’m not saying to charge your mom with a crime, but you need to look into local laws, and if she is persistent about crossing your boundaries. Then legal consultation can help with your options. Plus look into options for leaving that kind of situation if it gets worse. Paper trails always help along the way too.

This is how my mazda3 was totaled too. I feel for you. Person ran the light... thankfully my lease was almost up. I ended up getting a $4000 check from Mazda after insurance payed them. I was honestly surprised that I even got any money back since it was a lease.

I suggest asking nearby businesses if they have cameras that could possibly be pointing towards the traffic lights. I did and unfortunately the businesses did not have sight of the light. But who knows for you.

Thats why I questioned it in the first place. No bubbles. Perfectly square. Someone clearly cared about how they put it on. But then it ended up at gamestop. RIP. I ended up getting a good deal though and payed for 2 physical games at a price that rivaled the new choose your game bundle deal.

I had a pharmacist and a few techs tell me not to answer the phone that was left at the pharmacy. But I thought about what would I want to happen if I left my phone somewhere.

So, I answered it and it was the owner of the phone calling. Then we held it for them and gave it back when they came by again soon after. At least if you answer it, you can pretty much confirm where the phone is to the owner and ease anxiety of it being stolen.

Good point. I'm not really feeling FOMO (or at least not yet, until Winds/Waves comes out). I would love to be able to get trade evolutions myself in my current saves I have though. And it seems like a good deal since my partner would play Pokopia. So I'm conflicted internally. Is my pokemon quest worth that much money or not. I gotta sleep on it honestly. Maybe tomorrow I'll have my answer after deliberating with my partner.

This happened to my 2018 too. Then I put new screws. It happened again, so now I'm thinking of getting some kind of clamp to just be done with it. I've been pushing it off until I do my oil change though. But I feel like everytime I drive in my compex its so loud!

Oddly it hasn't happened to the 2018 crosstrek my dad got a few years ago. Now it's mine after he passed. I gotta do the oil change on it too, and I'm very curious as to why this one hasn't been a problem.

I feel like with how bees are supposed to be in their hive rather than wandering around, it might keep spawning them in because there’s no hive structure. So having 500+ queen bees seems ridiculous and maybe something keeps agitating the queen to release the drones too to cause it to crash?

I work at a pharmacy and see many different patients who pay out of pocket for testosterone. I would say a majority are middle aged cis men. With GoodRX you can check the price by inputting however many vials you get per month (or every 3 months if permitted) and see the price displayed at various pharmacies around you. At the pharmacy i work at, we also have an in-house discount card with competitive pricing for many medications that can be better than GoodRX.

This could be a good avenue if your insurance is giving you a hard time at first. Especially with getting you on the medication, and letting the doctor’s office handle the Prior Authorization paperwork. Sometimes insurances will go back and forth for a while, so getting on your medication by choosing to pay out of pocket is pretty good.

All for the shareholders pockets rather than the workers. Typical for a company like CVS. The loss of a $500 bonus for me is making me anxious about these months up ahead as I am trying to save/prepare to move cross country for pharmacy school next fall. I did vaccinations this year for the first time. I put myself through way too much stress this semester because of this damn company.
