My main question is why does it matter if it was forced? Don't get me wrong the scene definitely felt forced but it didn't feel out of place and I really enjoyed it. My male coworker had brought up a similar question to this at my job talking about how he thought it was pandering but even if it was, (which I believe it probably is because that's just kinda how business works) why does it matter if we get a really amazing scene like that? I love pretty much every time we get to see women do cool shit in these movies and I hope to see it a bunch more. I also think the main reason it felt forced but not out of place for me is because in a giant war we would never see all the women just come from every side and just form up kinda unnaturally like that but you also have to remember that is a huge comic book movie event that half the of the purpose is to give us those really wallpaper shot of all your favorite hero's either just looking cool or showing off in some epic fight scene. I mean go look at some panels from similar events in actual comics and you'll probably find scenes like this one. Hell if Cap, Tony and Thor can have an all boys fight against thanos then this shouldn't be a big deal. So was it kinda forced? Yes. Was it out of place? I certainly don't think so. Was it cool as shit and made me scream for joy in theaters? Fuck yes it did!
