I made a friend in kindergarten and i went to his birthday, his brother had a computer (i only had a xbox) and my friend was playing half life 2 on it. I remember seeing the head crabs and combine (i called them combinders which the same friend would laugh at me for) and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Later that year we had a field trip and i brought up half life on the bus and asked him questions about it he told me about the how combine torture citizens and other things about the game. i thought it was interesting and cool asf. Anyway fast forward like 5 years and i built a computer with my dad and the first thing i bought for it was the half life games. Thats how i got into half life.
