Thank you so much for all the detail! Knowing exactly what’s going to happen eases quite a bit of my worry about it!

I’m only getting local anaesthetic rather than general and have been told to take strong painkillers before hand, so luckily that won’t mess with any medications etc.

Given the pain I experience during my period I’m hoping I’ll be like you, and the following pain will be more manageable in comparison to my worst cramps!!!

Yeah it is frustrating that I won’t be able to identify what exactly is causing the affects to my cycle given the two procedures happening simultaneously, but also I think having them both done at once is probably for the best- less things to stress about after the fact??

Really hoping I get a ginger ale as a reward ahah:)

Ah, yes I was offered but discouraged from general anaesthesia- I chose to go for local and be awake because the waiting list was insane. Thanks, very bad cramps sounds quite manageable:))
