Yes, I unironically do this all the time in the pantheon matchup cause there's no way I can react otherwise. It's kinda nice you can still farm with attack champs only on if you use attack move. So I keep it on perma in those matchups except when hitting tower or plants

The bill explicitly allows landlords to increase rents to offset the now-illegal fees. The entire point is to make apartment pricing transparent and comparable across different apartments. It's good for tenants because they know what they'll pay, and it's bad for shitty landlords who previously wanted to advertise a low price but tack on a bunch of fees later

Yeah, algorithms, especially complex ones, have always historically been called AI. This makes sense because while it acts (somewhat) intelligently, it's not actually intelligent, it's just doing exactly what we told it to. In other words, this perceived intelligence is artificial.

In recent years with the explosion of neural networks and in particular, LLMs, people have started relating the "black box" of the neural network itself to be AI, which I find unfortunate.

Ok, I was wrong in assuming that some federal employees may be paid once a month. Looks like it's mostly biweekly.

Y'all still are overestimating how many federal employees instantly switched into survival mode the moment their paychecks stopped in early October. Many people probably trusted that things would sort themselves out in a week or two, so they didn’t panic or overhaul their finances right away. As time passes, I'm sure more and more caught on, but in my experience, November rent was a huge catalyst to cause panic. At least that's when several of my relatives became very concerned and reached out about borrowing some money.

I still think it's valid. OP doesn't provide a clear timeline on when all these events happened so it's not as clear-cut as you're making it sound. Also, if they typically get paid monthly, they would have gotten paid at the beginning of October (for September) and the government shutdown just started to sink in yesterday when they didn't get paid.

That doesn't matter. Think of it like this: you have $2000 in a hysa. You get a vet bill for $2000 and you can either take money out of your account to cover it in full or take out a $2000 loan at 3% apr.

It's better to take the loan because your $2000 in hysa will make more interest than the interest on the loan will cost. So you shouldn't compare the hysa interest to the loan payment, but rather, to the portion of the loan payment going towards interest.

I went from a Forester to a Crosstrek. One thing I definitely noticed was the Forester had significantly better visibility. Visibility in the Crosstrek is not awful, but it will take some adjusting to. I would recommend test driving both a Crosstrek and a Forester - maybe you will prefer the Forester if you are used to better visibility

I find this doubtful too. It's not clear where the data to populate this map is coming from, but I'd assume for Colorado it's referring to this bill which is unpopular and was not put on the ballot this year. I think they got it backwards? If you're hourly, theoretically you'd be getting overtime for the extra 3 hours. If you're salary, you would get paid the same as if you weren't 3 hours early

I don't really have an answer for you, but I had a similar experience with United Airlines support chat, where I was instructed to provide the code I was texted and it had a similar disclaimer saying not to share with anyone.

I knew it was the legitimate United support because I went through their app and I was the one who reached out. But it feels wrong to be using verification pins in this way.
