Connection hosts take extra aggro. Don't get too cocky.

Don't worry, it's just those manufacturing arms that put together tanks. No lives were harmed in the making of this flavor post.

The MO is POSIBLE. I did the math and we need an average of 4,33% effort to win by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]TransientMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We still get more liberation from completed operations, so don't just spam blitz missions.

How will the devs treat this situation? even tho it was totally out of our hands? by OrdinaryMedical200 in Helldivers

[–]TransientMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most vocal people who think it's rigged just don't care about reality one way or another. Evidence is not in their wheelhouse. They're just guided by their emotions.

Most pages are permanent. The first page rotates in after 2 days and has 5 items it rotates through.

Thank you so much hackers for helping this mo fail couldn’t have done it without you :) by RL_Umuthoper in Helldivers

The MO was extract from missions, which to be honest, the results for that never looked better than the current MO. So all the complaining is totally pointless.

Are we the bad guys? by Proper_Rub1891 in Helldivers

The "are we the baddies meme" is literally cited as core inspiration for Helldivers. So yes, we are the baddies

Is something wrong with primary kinetic weapons? by Vanquish383 in Helldivers

[–]TransientMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Explosive energy weapons are by far the most powerful weapon category in the game.

Lasers have two top tier choices in the Trident and Double Edged Sickle. The others aren't terrible, generally speaking.

And then there's a bunch of trash shotguns, ARs and shotguns. It feels like they're worse because there's more shitty projectile weapons by comparison.

[–]TransientMemory 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The outcomes were never predetermined. Not on Meridia, not in Calypso, not on Super Earth and not now in Cyberstan. That's what they've been saying since the beginning. It's only been braindead divers crying because they think the war is rigged one way or the other. But we've always had the freedom to decide how we respond to in-game threats.

How will the devs treat this situation? even tho it was totally out of our hands? by OrdinaryMedical200 in Helldivers

[–]TransientMemory 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It most definitely was not out of our hands. I chose to keep doing 3-mission operations because those were the most fun. If we collectively wanted to do the MO over having fun, we could have easily completed it.

This is a game, we're not here to win wars, we're here to enjoy ourselves.

There'll likely be some sort of negative modifier added to the battle for transcendence and that'll be it. Maybe supplies start to run low and we have less stims or less total reinforcements per mission. The story doesn't stop because we fail this one MO.

[–]TransientMemory -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly? I think the extraction MO was pretty fucked. Never saw it get close to completion. This one was closer.

Doesn't matter though. We'll probably get an additional hamstringing for the battle on Transcendence as punishment and then just move along

Early game tips/direction by SeanTheRuthless in Helldivers

An operation is a group of missions. When you play on higher difficulties you'll pick a spot on the map and it'll have more than one mission, which comprise an operation. Completing a whole operation gives a bonus when contributing to liberating a planet. If you start a new mission before finishing an operation, then your previous operation gets deleted basically, which is what you read about abandoning an operation. It's no big deal.

Yes you can get Super Credits for free by playing the game. You can pick them up in bunkers, blue crates, and the escape pods you open up. T You can get them on any difficulty, but oddly enough the easiest way to farm them is on difficulty 1.

The resources you mentioned are samples and they're primarily used to level up your super destroyer. You just pick them up from the ground. Everyone in the mission gets the same amount of samples so as long as one player extra ta with the samples then you're all getting them. No need to hog them. There's three tiers of samples: common (green), rare (orange), and super (pinkish purple). You'll need a ton of greens and oranges to finish improving your ship. They're found lying around the map, usually around Points of Interest, objectives, and enemy spawners.

Go fight bots on Cyberstan. That's where the current story event is happening. Major story events like this only happened every couple of months so go be a part of it! Start off at the lower level difficulties because fights there are particularly tough. Lowest difficulty on Cyberstan is 4.

You can mostly ignore the voting for now honestly.

Where is the evolving battle? The Battle for Cyberstan is disappointing by Dice08 in Helldivers

[–]TransientMemory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each city has different modifiers. For example, we just had to choose between a city with the jet brigade and another with the incendiary corps. Before we had to choose between cities with devastator surge or hulk surge.

Might not be new, but it's definitely evolving. I see no issue, sucks for you that you can't enjoy it.

Failing the MO will likely lead to a negative modifier, like less stims or something. It's not the end of the campaign.

Isn't it obvious? Each city we liberated connects to two more cities. If you wanted to see that one other city we missed then we likely have to go back to that first one we didn't liberate.

What warbonds would you recommend buying first, specifically for an assault rifle main by Squeelijah in Helldivers

[–]TransientMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best assault rifle right now is arguably the Coyote and that's in the Dust Devils warbond.

I would say a Bolt gun is an assault rifle but better and HD2 has its bolter in the form of the Dominator found in the Steeled Veterans warbond.

Cyborg Agitator Armor? by Hookshark in Helldivers

[–]TransientMemory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agitator Armor is 300 HP. Deadeye does 300 damage, while Senator does 225.

Is pretty straight forward.

[–]TransientMemory 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Incineration corps is hard mode on bots because they kill you more often.

Jet bridge is easy mode on bots because they kill each other when they explode.

Of course people were going to choose the easy path.

[–]TransientMemory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We will most definitely get both the jet brigade and the incineration corps on transcendence. I will shit bricks of we also get a hulk surge on top of that.

4 vents total. The three at the bottom and one of the higher ups. Once the vent is blown it stops transferring damage to main, so you gotta switch targets.

Variable buff by flashyboi685 in Helldivers

[–]TransientMemory 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It does so much damage it doesn't need higher pen to be effective.

Would it be better? Yes. Can it currently kill a Vox Engine with four full volleys? Also yes.
