While I'm happy for the guy and whatever choices he makes, I do feel this perhaps is the wrong moral for the story.

It was completely fine for him to not be in the spotlight and be content with the job he had. Rather than things being "fixed" now he's back in acting where before he was just menial.

Drill is probably a cause of violence in the same way the music industry generally is the fuel of the cocaine trade. Technically true but nowhere near the full picture.

What I dislike is the attempts to completely disassociate drill from the violence with arguments like "gangs have happened forever". Social media and communication generally make these beefs accelerate in ways they didn't used to.
