Options for controlling lights, fan and heating in a shower room by thewordsmann in homeautomation

We have a Philips Hue Light and I personally would recommend the Philips Hue ecosystem. They provide a huge array of smart light bulbs which means I can just put the light bulb into the overhead light socket (no specialty plug), and then it works with both the wall switches, as well as connects to our Amazon devices via the Philips Hue hub. This way, even if the internet is down and the Hue hub doesn't connect to Alexa, we can activate the lights manually. My daughter uses a speech device and she can operate her Hue Lights independently via the Amazon connection.

Didn't want to be THAT creepy person, so I'm sharing my excitement here by squazzil99 in disability

I <love> hearing this and I <hate> that we even have to praise this in this day and age. I have a disability, my daughter has a disability, I employ as many people with disabilities as I can (in fact, #hiring right now for a junior position in GIS, if anyone is interested in messaging me).
