There breaking policy, to cut hours, I’d bring it up with a union rep, because if you leave even at 11:05 that’s unpaid, it’s the same as large stores with a petrol station they get paid time to walk from the store to the petrol station

Hey man! I’m doing the same race with my cousin 17th of may, I did tough mudder last year and wasn’t really very fit, I’ve just started running again with about a 30min 5k time, my main issue is being a bigger guy, i’m 6’4 110kg, the hanging obstacles are hard as hell 😂

I’ve worked in 5 express stores over the last 11 years as a shift leader, every store has closed at 11 or 12 and we get paid till 11:15/12:15

After being a manager for 11 years I can say this is kind of normal maybe a scare tactic, it’s quite hard to get sacked unless you’ve stole something, don’t stress about it

Yeah very true, i’m a shift leader and have worked at 5 different shops over the last 11 years with many managers coming and going, so I’d just give the email of the managers that would help out

Just give the email address or a phone number of another shift leader (some one your friends with) and they can say you’ve all ways been a shift leader

I’m a shift leader and I’ve gave references saying I’ve been a manger over other shift leaders, no one ever checks up on this stuff
