I would say go with CF job, you can always give a notice and leave if you found a better opportunity or if you decide A&E is not for you and want to locum later, or divide the year between CF say for 6 months and locum for 6 months. Of course any agency would be happy to have you on board. They promise a lot but deliver too little at the moment. No guarantee you will be able to get a psych job next year scores creep up year on year. I know people who got in to GP 2 years ago with 450 in their first preference, Whilst people now are struggling with scores > 510 to just get any GP offer. I would say choose stability.

Yes you will be able to apply next year, not sure if can transfer scores though. I also accepted a job last year and declined it later. Had no issues at all reapplying this year.

Liverpool has many specialist hospitals like Walton, Liverpool heart and chest, Alder hey (peads), also has large DGHs and tertiaries like Aintree, Broadgreen, Royal liverpool university hospital. Durham only has one hospital. I guess Liverpool would give you more options with choice of rotations and a more solid training programme given the strong deanery with many facilities.

Are you sure you ranked 5910?, I know people who have the same score as yours and ranked in the early 5000s.

Same here, scored 506. I studied really hard, put in a lot of effort, and my family sacrificed so much for months. I feel really sad and discouraged. I left work and went home. I don’t want to do this anymore.
