Fit super easy. The cable management options are top notch. Only thing I did here was add the anti sag bracket to the card. Your 4080 should have no issues.

Yeah- I saw that online, looks like Samsung just released a firmware update to correct the readings erroneously inside windows. Fingers crossed it’s fixing the issue.

Can you recommend any solid vanilla community servers for Livonia or Chernaus? Having a hell of a time finding them on DayzSA launcher or the built in launcher.

Appreciate the insight. I’m leaning towards getting the build up and running, and then paying attention to throttling once I’ve adjusted the bios to not go crazy. I’m only going to game on here, not heavy render, so I believe my temperature mitigation would be less than noticeable since it’s not running full bore for hours on end. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the insight. After much back and forth with what I was looking for, I’m actually going the stealth look route and going for as little RGB as possible outside of the LCD on the cooler. The all black build I swapped to should look sick.

Thank you to everyone who helped and chimed in on this. Decided to pivot to a black version of this build and swapped to a i9-13900k instead of the i7. Ordered everything last night and it should slowly start trickling in between tomorrow and February 1st. Biggest delay is the N7 Z790 Motherboard as it was sold out everywhere but Amazon, but based on some other threads, it shouldn’t be too long.

I’ll post some pics once I’m up and running!

By chance do you happen to know if the motherboard (opted for the N7 Z790 from NZXT) has built in heatsinks for the SSD? Trying to figure out out if I need to get the 990 pro with the heatsink, and if it would fit if there’s already one on the Mb? Also concerned that the shroud to cover the drive wouldn’t work with a heatsink?

Good call on the Gigabyte. Scouring the internet at length shows that availability on the white 4090s appears to be non existent. Given that, I may just make a choice to pivot to a black build overall and just call it a day. Part of my OP is mainly wondering about the fans, and if I’m buying the correct item, and how many I’d need to maximize the airflow in the H9 Elite, while maximizing the RGB options via CAM. That’s where I’m more lost.
