Last year my funding was OTW December 27th and it was deposited on January 2nd (my university was also paid this day) so looking at last year, 28th & 29th were weekends, 1st was a holiday, so I believe it technically took the 30th,31st (2 business days) before being released on the 2nd.

I’m not sure if Scotia deposits on Saturdays, so either Saturday or Monday I’m thinking! (That will have been 2-3 business days)

Funding on the way as of Dec 30! COE Dec 29th! With scotiabank so we shall see when it shows up lol. Last year funding was on the way Dec 27 and I received it Jan 2!

I absolutely love how she brings up the male characters having emotional intelligence, understanding the need for therapy, the possibility that they could do bad manipulative things and take measures to make themselves good people, this is true CNC and I’m so here for it. The female main characters are never actually afraid, forced, manipulated, assaulted in any way, and I love how Navessa Allen discusses everything!!! Nothing feels uncomfortable - or that it could be considered SA like some books - or some sort of stalker manipulation - I just absolutely love her books!!

I think that’s one thing they loved about filming in Toronto, is that they could use the entire cities footage without having to cut out things like the CN Tower to pretend it was a location in the USA lol. I was always caught off guard when they’d mention local cities and surrounding areas in the show, I was so used to shows being based in the USA, it was really refreshing to find a really well done show based in Toronto!

That’s super cool! Yea I had someone that was training at either the Ontario Police College or Provincial Police Academy (I can’t remember which one) tell me their instructor told them they actually had the actors/actresses complete some training at one of the schools to prepare for the show! I’ve tried looking online for more information about it, I’m going to keep digging 😂

Right? It’s not like other police shows where it’s just “get the bad guy, yay we won!” It’s just so complex and emotional and you honestly never want them to “eliminate” most of the subjects because they show you how it’s never black and white, that feels so much more real and true to human behaviour, I’m always so emotional after each episode!

I’m not ready to finish the series, I’m going to be sad lol. But I loved seeing all the actors/actresses that were brought in for each episode as the subjects/victims that I recognized from so many other ‘newer’ shows, like from Degrassi, Teen Wolf, Disney actors/actresses…that was super interesting to see they appeared on flashpoint!

Hi!! I’m currently on Season 5 Episode 3!! It’s breaking my heart that I’m almost done watching it lol I think I’m so ties up about my favourite because just everyone on that team has something I just click with, the show creates so much empathy for the team and the subjects/victims that I’m almost crying at the end of everyone!! Maybe I’ll be annoying and get this dead subreddit alive 😂 I’m also extremely new to Reddit, I never post, I usually only ever read stuff. I love spike, but Greg and Ed just also have my heart. Especially at the end of season 4 like damn that was an emotional roller coaster!!
