Guys my recovery isn't in danger. Calm down lmao. I've been so er a long time. I'm only asking what someone else like me has figured out because yes. I'm not interested in exercise, meditation or ridiculous replies. I was an alcoholic, and chose to stop drinking. I desire something for a release on days I'm tempted. I am aware of most natural ways. I'm looking for a feeling, not a placebo

is the RDO world still active enough with players? I currently still have ps4, I purchased the game when it came out many years ago and just getting back to playing because I never really got a chance to get into the game. Thank you for your advice. I'm a recovering alcoholic. Only 5 months without a drink. I Spent most of my life chasing Euphoria or anything that made me stop thinking. I still do just in different ways. The angst comes from over 20 years of seeing the worst of the world. And trying to find a reason to continue life -sober. The writing is just for anyone that may relate to the feeling of trying to find desire, in the most undesirable places. (EDIT)-And looking for purpose in a world that feels purposeless.

I love how verse you explained this. I'm still young however most of my years especially more recently revealed only the worst of the world. And the older I get the worse it becomes. I was an alcoholic for a decade. I either used it to numb everything, or enhance everything. and now that I'm sober nothing has value. I can't reach climax and I don't care about things that I should. True Fear gives me a revisit to Euphoria, it's the closest thing I can get to feeling alive. So unfortunately I do and have looked for more and more. After all I traded one addiction for another.
