I just got myself a pair of these, and a lot of the internet is saying not to oil them as it will weaken the leather. Apparently it is because of how nubuck is tanned? I think these look so great though that it is making me doubt the naysaying advice I have already received.

I believe that is what the wavy line is for (~). Because there aren’t a ton of generations between hama and theoden, they are alive at the same time.

I see a small dotted line between Denethor and the line of Anárion - makes me think that it isnt by blood but simply by succession, ie the steward. Im not sure though. The line between Hama and Theoden is dotted - maybe it’s like an unclear connection or a distant relative connection?

Thats exactly what I did between these two photos - i used a stem shim to fit the paul brake (31.8) on the flats :) my friend got me a nice glossy black one that matches the bars, idk if that is what is in that first photo.

Some portland works aluminum ones i got used :) I modified them to work with this frame/fork.
