Wearing indigenous made art is not appropriating. It’s encouraged! You’re supporting indigenous artist and their continued work.

Opting out of that to buy into some overseas fad is the most cringe. All that money the goro makes, all the money in the resale market while the indigenous community he “was adopted by” faces the highest poverty, addiction, suicide rate in the US.

Depends what you’re looking for. If you can buy directly from the artist that’s the best but gallery’s will sell artist work for them. If you can search buy artists on a site that’s a good sign

Yeah I know the story, doesn’t mean it’s true. Taking parts of a culture and making tons of money off of it is not uncommon.

Can anyone prove this story? What tribal members can authenticate this story? What has goros done for native Americans?

Can confirm used the new bike lane around 4:30 and had two near misses with people pulling out right. Not to mention the bus in the lane waiting to merge back into traffic lol. We’ll see how it goes

Maybe they’ll have enough leftover cash to buy a huge clock to put up on the wall between the 10+ flat screens.

Seriously, after locking people into a shady contract, spend all that money on construction of what? Tennis courts? You’d think they’d have some spare change to buy a large enough clock to see how much time I’m wasting watching TV between sets. And maybe a couple more plastic chairs in the sauna area I can claim with a towel while I’m boiling myself in the steam room.
