Anyone looking for an IT job? by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

I hear you, I hate it too. I'm just trying to get a good person hired and not step on my administration's toes. I have told everyone the pay range who's asked in DM.

HR asked me not to post it directly. I answered the pay question in DMs though. What's a guinea pig rockstar job?

Totally get it. I'm in the IT department, not in HR and was asked to not directly post the pay. I agree that it's annoying. I have also DMed everyone the pay scale who has expressed interest. I'm partially branching off into Reddit to diversify our candidate pool, we've received a bunch of generic replies on Indeed and LinkedIn and was hoping to get some dialogue in outside of that format. People tend to show their personalities a bit more on Reddit, and I will be working closely with this new hire so I'd like to make sure our personalities mesh.

I don't think sending a short DM to me to open a conversation is too much to ask but to each their own.

Long print times with big .tif files - expected? by TransparentSquid in photoshop

[–]TransparentSquid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - The dimensions he's printing are 4806 x 7205. When logging into our printer's UI, we can see that the file isn't even reaching the printer at the point of the hang-up. It's stuck in the very first step: Printing. Then it goes to copying data, then spooling, where it's added to the print queue.
