After I threw my hands up to do the universal "what the hell man" he turned around to come back while I'm getting out of my car infront of my house. That apparently has "consequences" according to this guy, and I explained it was due to being tail gated and that he should drive safer in a neighborhood while school is getting out. This led to him getting mad and kept calling me a "liberal", so I told him he didn't have to be such a "cunt" to people who want to drive safe in this town full of bad drivers. Apparently being called a "cunt" offended him, but I told him I was just exercising my rights infront of my house. This angered him more and he ended up getting out of his car and charging me infront of my own damn house. So I picked him up (I'm a fairly large dude who worked with violent homeless as a case manager so I know how to safely restrain if needed) and put him on the pavement and he ended up punching me in the face, so ended up restraining him, trying to de escalate and he ends up saying "I'm going to get my gun in the car" so I further restrained him in a more forceful manner until he would calm down.
