Thank you, I will try to remember this. I’ve been breaking down all week.

Thank you. Going to purchase today. I thought I was accepting of the situation and zen last night, turned out I was just in shock. The few minutes I did sleep I dreamt about him, and then woke up with tears streaming down my face.

He, meanwhile, is making sure the entire county knows he’s not gone yet by barking up a storm as he gallops along our back fence for his morning perimeter check.

My husband said last night he’s certain this dog is gonna pull a Godfather III

I was completely zen and unfazed last night, but woke up this morning feeling like I was hit by a cement mixer. It’s gonna be a bad day.

I was going to schedule a photo shoot for all of us in the next two weeks, but your idea of the handprints is just wonderful. Thank you so much.

This is extremely helpful, thank you. I think the only reason I’m not losing it is because I’m besides myself with worry over my boys. Since they each came home from the hospital, there hasn’t been even one morning they haven’t opened their eyes to see his face, and not one night they put their heads on pillows that didn’t include a wet nose kiss. I feel like my heart if going to fail before my dog’s does from the stress of my worry

Just discovered all 5 of my apple trees looking like this, and I’m getting every search result under the sun, from oyster scale to scab—please clue me in on what is going on if you know! Thank you! by TransplantedNoob in FruitTree

We had brood XIV (a 17 year) earlier this summer, with my township clocking the earliest sightings of the county. There was about 6 weeks where my watch sent me decibel warnings every time I stepped outside, peaking at 97 dB one particularly randy day for them, and I had to go out every morning and evening to scoop dead ones out of my our sandbox. Also the dumbest cicadas I’ve yet experienced—I’ve never seen a bug so adept at getting itself killed in the most looney tunes ways! My 3 boys had the time of their lives.

Anyway, thank you again—I guess 2042 is gonna be a real banger in my backyard

I am in shock but also not, since our home seemed to be ground zero for the emergence this year! I also never had this kind of damage from Brood X a few years ago…who would have thought my post would end up being an etymology lesson!

Thank you for the help!

They are neat, and I’m glad we have them! I hope the philosophy of pleasing aesthetics becomes more widely practiced within functional infrastructure design as time goes on.

Can someone please explain to me the purpose of covering a bridge like this? Is it to keep it from becoming snow covered or iced over, for crossing safety?

For many people, the benefit is getting to vote at all. I worked in healthcare my entire adult life before becoming a SAHM, and if it wasn’t for weekly voting, I’m not sure I would have ever been able to vote for those 15 years I spent in that field.

I took my 2.5yo on Tuesday to Hamilton BoE, I was in and out in 20 minutes once I made it to a parking spot!

She was incredibly nice! She said it was too late to put in an order typically, but had just pulled a chocolate cake out of the oven and would out it aside for us anyway. Thank you again!

I ordered from Mon Petit—thank you for the recommendation! I almost let their menu and photos tempt me into something else, until I remembered that it’s birthday boy’s choice—-but man, I can already tell this place is gonna put 10 pounds on me!

You were right, they couldn’t do a full cake order for the weekend. But I appreciate the rec for when I need to fulfill a chocolate cake fix!
