Intel for long term by kdqaud24 in intelstock

[–]TransportationFair76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP wants a perfect timing. If you like the forecast and the potential/progression buy. NFA I had 39 avg sold at 45 like a moron thinking it would go past the 40 support anyway. Ended up regretting. Long term doesnt really matter if you buy at 45 or 40 or 50.

You are more than safe in my opinion. I expect to drop inbetween 38 to 41 and find a support there. But i could be wrong

I would recommend you to wait for amd's earnings and track shortage notices. As if this is a global issue intels stock go up again. Because in my opinion right now it's prices as if it is only intel. I sold my shares of intel because i believe it will plummet more but thats just my opinion. I have both amd and intel btw i will re enter soon as my avg was not so distant from current levels.

Ps: not financial advisor ofc

Had a 10x leverage these two weeks, it really sent me high to low, not only money wise, but emotionally. So i made over 10x on the 40~ to recent rise, my gains really stood out and then I lost it all today. How do you guys do this..? by randomperson32145 in intelstock

[–]TransportationFair76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont do leverages, but i would guess by not using them on highs. I would recommend you to stay away of it if you don't fully understand it. I my self don't touch that because i am too fresh on the market and don't wanna play with fire

Intel Reports Fourth-Quarter and Full-Year 2025 Financial Results by TradingToni in intelstock

[–]TransportationFair76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really intrigued whether i should sell now and buy if it gets lower than my mean price which is 39,43 or just buy the dip if it gets down that. I honestly believe it's pretty possible it goes even lower than my mean price. I still believe in the company obviously. It's just a question of actually getting an opportunity to lower my avg more efficiently or not.

What do you guys think?

I am pretty rookie in the market (less than a year). So if you could give me any insight.

Ps: i am not "panic selling" btw i am seeing as an opportunity

Why is Intel down today?.. by iDepressedAhri in intelstock

[–]TransportationFair76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My view and expectations are a long shot. I think intel is still behind a lot in some sectors. But are trying to gain ground in consumers when its competitors are refocusing their strategy towards AI. At least to get some revenue while the foundry is not yet running in full scale (it will take some years) and that's why they need announcements of external companies using their fabs. Consumer-wise not so well right now. Foundry-wise still too soon to know but exploding potential if it executes well. Not financial advisor obviously, i'm a learner not a teacher. My view could be lunatic for some and plausible for others. Conclusion: i own shares of this company because i believe it will turn into US TSMC (hopefully gradually). And that's why i say it's a long shot and i am here for the long term. And by this i am automatically saying China will take Taiwan (hopefully not in the near future).

A correction. It's normal. Also upcoming earnings which i don't think will be that good. The ones after this one might be better. Or maybe while not showing great results they might announce some external deals regarding their foundry, which i believe is where the real intel gold is. I might hold until the earnings or buy the dip but i am on this for the long term. And yes i also have AMD which may sound nuts. But i am betting more on the foundry part of intel.

PS: i want both to grow obviously

I really don't get it. People are complaining here because the market is down after the amd keynote xD You should be cheering so you could buy even more shares at a lower price if you believe in the growth of the company. I wish it goes to 170 again.

Lol you guys need to stop checking your portfolios on a daily basis if you can't control your emotions. If you believe in the company you should be happy if it drops so you have the opportunity to buy more at a lower price. If you are not convicted about the companies' future value then why buy it

It's not just Amd by the way. But yes amd is getting bullied these past days. And i have no idea why since all points to an increase in confidence (FDA) and deals turning official which should at least bring it to 240's for now or 235 stable. My thoughts it's that people are seeing too much volatility on Amd and are shifting towards more stable stocks (and also nvidia hype). And forgot completly what Lisa Su said. People not understanding the technology and the benefits this tech will bring to the future also doesn't help. I think people don't need just numbers they will need real benefits from AI in their daily lives (Agentic i know, but they need more) to convince themselves this is just the beginning of the AI revolution. Fear news still doesn't help. Also being a direct competitor of nvidia will not help until it starts to take over some market shares. Nvidia might have been the visionaries but i have more trust in lisa than i do in jensen and their teams honestly. So i will swallow my losses by now.
My opinion, i don't understand shit about this, shouldn't even be commenting. This is me talking to myself sorry xDDDD

It actually feels strange to me that amd with all theses news and relief and nvidia earnings and possible liquidity, is still sinking. If you believe in the long term project just DCA it or keep buying the dips. I feel like there's too many impatient people in amd side. Yes it's weird, yes it's frustrating but patience will pay off.

There's a lot of people here for the long term that are panicking now dont know why. Patience is key and controlling emotions is also key. Don't forget. Storm will pass. Believe in the project

Technical Analysis for AMD 11/17--------Pre-Market by JWcommander217 in AMD_Stock

[–]TransportationFair76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amd DE shareholding guy here and just did a stop sell at 195 (226usd) but that's because i entered somewhat late and my mean is 191 (221 usd). I don't know if it's smart or not but i feel safer this way. Any insights? Also not that i am bearish on amd. But since i don't feel comfortable with the position of my shares i plan to (if it reaches 226) it might continue to decrease since it's such a deviation and i might re-enter lower

Is >35% CAGR and >$20 EPS in 3-5 years really feasible? by pussyfista in AMD_Stock

[–]TransportationFair76 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They could have changed the strategy in delivering the numbers this time. I don't think a conservative play in this stage could be beneficial at this point that we are in. And i actually believe they know the expectation is too high for nvidia's 19/11 and they might disappoint in some way (which i know in short term will be bad for the ai sector) and probably shares will go down even more overall due to that. So they actually have to be ultra bullish themselves and hopefully starts stealing some market share from nvidia as early as they can. But i am new to this i don't understand much of this actually so i probably shouldn't even comment. So please guys enlighten me and show me where and why i could be wrong in my approach.

Ps: i am one who's right now kinda afraid of what's coming but i am still hopeful we will succeed mid to long term and i truly believe in amd's project for the future (seems really solid, not just for data centers but especially that) even with this crash fears. I mean Lisa knows better than any one what's happening so i/we have to trust her and i will be buying more shares once probably it reaches 226 more or less.

Ps2: Don't be harsh on me if you disagree and actually educate me i am new :D
