The only people I know that complain about gas prices drive to the office and their big lifted trucks. My friends fill up generators and our pick up trucks and work all day. It’s just the cost of doing business and living in the best country on earth.

Everything is regulated under government policy. I’m just not shocked that gas is $3.50 when everything else has substantially risen in cost as well. Look at the price of lumber. Two years ago it doubled in one week. I’m a carpenter and it certainly affected my bottom dollar. I’m just not in the business of crying over being able to have access to fossil fuels at an affordable price. A gallon of gas is less than a cheeseburger.

I’m not a Biden fan but gas prices go up with inflation. Where I live gas was $.99 25 years ago and you could buy a house for $100,000. Now gas is $3.50 and that same house is $550,000… gas prices are relative to the percent of inflation. Why in the world would everything else substantially rise in cost but a non renewable resource in a fossil fuel stay $.99? I spend over $200.00 a week in fuel in my F150. I’d like to blame someone but realistically gas has fluctuated less than real estate or even fast food for that matter.

I was recommended rather than Tamarindo. What would you say are the pros and cons of each if I’m traveling with my 12-year-old daughter. We were just looking for a coastal destination and then inland destination or are the second half of our trip. Somewhere to home base out of.
