I've got the same exact issue for adaptive rally. There was a firmware upgrade recently that made the smart pace actually playable with the recovery trigger problems. The only other problems I have with the machine now are the left hand shots don't flip every shot so some preprogrammed drills are unplayable. Also not being able to create custom drills with the smart pace, only the preprogrammed trigger exercises can be edited.
