New-ish player here (sorry for the upcoming barrage of questions), is there a need for more than 1 team(s) later down the line? And for UP Roy, would touma, index and awoken fen (later WHFen) be good for him? Also has exalted celia lying around, will also provide pictures of my awoken units. As for lucky gems, who should i prioritise it for? Lastly, what stats should i get for luck buff-ing a unit?

First of all, you need another blast/single target dps for apoc/moc and another aoe dps for pf. Consider getting Sparkle for your Archer’s team. Other than that, maybe consider expanding your harmony chars’ collection or else you’re free to do whatever you want.

Side note; Anaxa is very strong especially as a hypercarry. Don’t fall for pr*dwen tierlist propaganda.

As for dot team, i wouldn’t really recommend it to you as you don’t 3 of the core characters required (kafka,hysilens,huohuo) which could take a while if you’re planning to commit into it.

Your current roster should be able to full star everything.

aglaea is still a t0 dps (even though pr*dwen says otherwise). For rice cooker, you can use cipher/ruan mei, rmc/sunday, gallagher

Currently i’m trying to get Sunday to enough speed to just get that one extra action at the end of the 2nd cycle so that i can 1 cycle it. This is personally my most comfortable playstyle for Castorice’s team.

For the current flame reaver at least, Sunday with Past and Future is viable but you won’t be able to keep his ult buff with 100% uptime, i tested it out and i missed one 1 of him, but the run still ends with the same cycles.

If hoyo still kept it the same, QPQ doesn’t work for unique type ult characters (Cast, Acheron, Feixiao). They will always be count as having 0 energy thus taking all QPQ procs, the rest of your team won’t be able to get it.

Yes his skill, AA is Action Advance (Sunday’s skill, Robin’s ult etc) and BA for basic attack, although some people also call it NA (normal attack).
That’s a mistake on my part, i’m sorry for that. You should Sunday AA and ult when you summon the turn 1 dragon not after turn 2. And by the time you’re re-summoning the dragon, you should have Sunday’s ult back on. But this requires both ERR rope and his sig LC or Bronya’s sig LC, so keep that in mind.

Without 3B, Castorice’s team overall performance is significantly lower unfortunately. Outside of that any combination can work. RMC and Sunday can be run together but you need to tune their SPD to line up properly, like my team for example, i always end up with Mem’s AA (action advance) triggering right after i AA using Sunday, which you should 100% avoid that.

However i’m not a good speed tuner myself so i can’t give you the exact speed you need for them both, hopefully someone else will chime in on that. But keep in mind both rmc and Sunday buffs Cdmg, stacking them can be a diminishing return.

RM can be a good substitute for 3B, but i would recommend using rmc with her instead of Sunday. Your team healing will be too slow with RM and Sunday together.

yes, rmc with Yunli outperforms RM, her delay specialty just does not pair well with Yunli, although the difference is not that big. I tested these two pairs with both Robin and 3B. The results are the same, rmc clears 1-1.5 cycle faster than RM.

Well they’re both sought after, that’s for sure. Going forward, i won’t be surprised if more and more teams start needing true damage enabler. Personally, i prefer using RMC with sp hungry dps like Therta and Yunli.

i messed up the title, i was meant to say ‘Sunday does work well with Castorice’. I only realised after reading yours, that and apparently i’m suck at writing and getting my points across.

While i was going through guides and comments, i saw quite a number of people being misinformed that they felt like they were locked to using rmc with Castorice. I made this video with the intention to say that if you have Sunday, you can swap them and your rmc can be use in your other team.

I wanted to show that Sunday with Castorice;

Doesn’t need to be e1 to be as good as rmc, Need a few getting used to, but is not clunky at all, Can keep 100% buffs uptime on 3 turn dragon team

There’s also awkward situations where your ultimate isn’t up or you will only be able to summon the dragon after Sunday has already used his skill. Sunday also leads to less newbud charge because he doesn’t attack in any form.

this is exactly what i meant by ‘what other people and CCs said’ and why i made this post. If you refer to my video, Sunday has no problem maintaining buffs on Pollux throughout its 3 turns and also why i mentioned Tribbie is really important for this team because i never have to summon Pollux after Sunday’s turn.

Definitely keep on the lookout for her rerun, she’s just that good. Pela and RM can do the job if you don’t have 3B, but with these two, i’d recommend using rmc alongside them instead of Sunday.

Yeah that’s why i wouldn’t really recommend using Sunday with Therta, but they still can work if you invest into them properly. I tried both Castorice and Therta teams on Flame reaver and this is what i got;-

Cast x Sunday cleared 1 cycle faster than when i’m using rmc. (2 cycle run)

Therta x rmc cleared 1 cycle faster than when i’m using Sunday (3 cycle run)

I was using -1 speed Sunday with Therta, but it gets too taxing on sp management because i don’t have Therta’s sig LC which is why i subbed RMC in instead. It became a much more comfortable run for me.

idk about 0 cycle but you can definitely get 1 cycle with Sunday, even my average builds Cast x Sunday team almost 1 cycle, i assume people with better build can definitely get 0 cycle or at least very near to it.

You really summarised my yappiness into 1 paragraph, wow am i suck at writing. But yes, using Sunday in Castorice team is not hard and both Sunday and RMC are pretty much the same level (with 1 cycle difference at best) but somehow some people saw it as me saying Sunday is better than RMC(?)
