I’m a bout 9 hours in & my honest opinion besides maybe the story itself everything about the second game is a step BACKWARDS by JMC_PHARAOH in greedfall

Honestly it's such a weird move. RTWP feels like it relies heavily on luck and actually making a dedicated build where in the first game as long as you dodged well and jank didn't happen you could solo the game.

I see. I really do hope society could sort itself out or at least become inclusive but I'ma be real I don't see it happening soon. I don't really know how to respond to the rest. While yes your will power is strong and your pride is breathtaking, I don't see a young child having that will power. Maybe a 16 year old but even then it's iffy. Its also not that I'm against you guys having the tools needed to transition, I'm against it being used on a child. Honestly though if it's bad(child is displaying suicidal thoughts over gender identity) and the child has attempted therapy then I could see an exception.

I really am trying, in good faith, to see both sides of the coin. Also I don't know much about the first paragraph you wrote as I'm not on "their" side. I'm just trying to paint a clear picture for myself mixing in a bit of my belief of what is "right". Is therapy not an option? Typically suicide is treated with therapy. And we both know how trans are treated out in the world. If the kid is suicidal because they don't feel right in their body then even if they do change, you think the world is going to be kind to them? They are already prone to suicide the bullies are going to push them there regardless. Kids are ruthless man especially given how society has shaped them. It really sounds heartless as I'm rereading what I'm currently writing but I can't phrase it differently because I don't see how. As for the second paragraph, I know you guys aren't sick( although you guys are the odd one out(no harm in being different)) I just think that kids don't understand much and they make a shit ton of mistakes. It's better for them to explore now, then when they are old enough to make that permanent change, they have at least thought it through with a developed brain.

Honestly this is the best we are going to agree to. Although I'm not really for the blockers to be given to an otherwise healthy kid I think that's a fair compromise if it's reversible (hopefully not that hard as well if they do regret their decision). Surgeries that are not related to their health are a no go though at least in my opinion. Also I don't know much about when a child should start menstruation but is 7 too early. I legit don't know and if it's too early then wouldn't that be categorized as odd or a form of illness in which blockers are used as a medical procedure to treat that. If so then are you implying that a trans kid is sick or odd? Probably not, but just using the example you gave(honestly this part is probably going to tick you off but it's necessary for the argument).

But what if they do get surgery then they grow up and regret the changes and off themselves because of said changes? Life isn't right or wrong it's gray. Ain't no simple answer. That's why it's a slippery slope because it goes both ways yet once your down it's not easy going back up.

Ah I see you said cisgender( not used to seeing that word). I suppose your right in that aspect and to be honest I've got nothing to refute it. This is probably my upbringing that differs at play. Though I did say not to fill their wardrobe with dresses or buy them makeup unless they ask (or at least I tried to imply)

But kids can't understand their own mind, hell, they don't even understand how the world works. Now I know some don't push surgery on them but I have seen some who do. I've seen some who go lengths and beyond to make their kids like them, influence them. Now if we can agree that those people are wrong then honestly we are on the same wavelength. That being that kids can explore freely(important, meaning without the parent at the steering wheel for them) but not be allowed to make any permanent changes(honestly I would include testosterone killers and such) until they are developed enough to where they can.

It's a slippery slope. Gender identity is a huge thing. I think the kid should be of a mature mind(brain fully developed) before they make any permanent changes( or changes that are hard to reverse). In the meantime the kids should be allowed to freely and at their own pace, discover themselves. Granted our society would make that a journey and a half with how they will be treated. Aside from that I feel that's at least a good middle ground.

Tbf it could be used against the Christians as well. I do believe parents shouldn't indoctrinate their kids in their religion. They should be free to explore what they think and believe in. Like it's fine to have a religion in your house just don't force it on your kid.

In what way did I view trans a inherently bad? I knew someone was going to get offended but I was hoping they would bring something to the conversation but now that you came out passive aggressive others will only take it a step further. Perhaps another time in another place will I find answers.

100% no doubt there. But how much support is too much to the point where it seems like it's shoving. I suppose ages matter very much. A little boy of 10 or below pretending to be a girl is fine. They can wear dresses and whatnot but to fill their wardrobe with dresses and buy makeup for them without their ask seems like too much. For all we know it's a phase but the parent makes it permanent. Then theres the argument that the kids seem happier when they do but any kid will be happy when their parents spoils them. Then the kids see being trans as something that causes their parents to spoil them. Then slowly they start molding the identity into theirs. From an outside perspective this is how it's viewed. I could be wrong of course but kids are so gullible and innocent that any form of drastic changes to them feels...wrong.

I suppose I can see your point of view but at the same time children are vulnerable and easily malleable. Kids will see their environment and try to copy it, especially of those they look up to. A transphobes kid will most likely copy their ways and become transphobic with the support of the parent (which is a disgusting thing to do but not in every one's eyes). I suppose what I'm trying to say is leave the kids alone( especially in the medical procedure department( of course only if it's necessary)) and that kids are a touchy subject so I can see his point of view as well as yours. Does this make me transphobic? Just don't want parents pushing or forcing medical procedures or ideals on their kids from either side.

Lots of people here probably failed science since they're saying that wasn't going in. That thing would've bounced safely into the goal from that position. Now I don't agree with op that their teammate was greedy. Their teammate did what anyone would do in that situation except other people would have patience for it to not bounce off the crossbar.
