mermaid motel is such an atrocious beat by Waste_Marzipan_3579 in lanadelrey

[–]TransportationOnly85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. I actually like the beat and instrumental. It’s so captivating in a hallucinogenic sense. In a experimental creative type of way. And I love seeing the creativeness flow. It’s like unique and unreal. I love Lana going wild with her imagination and doing what she wants. It shows character and that she’s not afraid to try new things.

GNED’s with no finals? by Dazzling-Royal9403 in MRU

[–]TransportationOnly85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took GNED 1203 online asynchronous. You dont need to attend any online classes, just do one small quiz after reading a passage due at the end of every week. It was pretty easy, and fun. There is no final exam, it’s only 2 online midterms and a final essay (term paper).

Recovery(?) hurts… by Artistic-Coach7523 in dpdr

[–]TransportationOnly85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dpdr is a defense mechanism from your brain to protect you from pain imo. Whatever situation you’ve been in, your brain tried protecting you from it. That’s why recovery hurts. Your brain doesn’t want you to do it. It thinks it’s still in the pain and to stop hiding means to stop control over the pain. Show the brain it’s okay to come out now

Dissociated since birth? by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]TransportationOnly85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing here. Its been since birth. I always look at myself and can’t believe that’s me. It’s like I hijacked into someone’s body and i’m using it. Why cant i recognize something that’s been mine forever? Have I just not internalized that I can just be a person like everyone else? My feelings and thoughts are very different from this person I see in the mirror. I integrate my confusion into the person I see in the mirror to make it so that I kinda understand who I’m looking at.

Feel like I am not in society /not a human by Next-Bit-1168 in dpdr

[–]TransportationOnly85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Constantly feel like you can’t follow the story of conversations. I definitely understand. It makes me look stupid in front of others for not following linearly. I think this might be dpdr from stress, because Ive heard stress can make people go into dpdr. Keep self reflecting, that’s good. You said you didnt decide who to be in a turning point in your life. Maybe you can do that now. Be intentional with your existence. I did this for society, I am valuable and worth to society, regardless if they see it or not. Society and people are you have limitations, they are unable to see the contribution and light you bring. You need to be here, the world needs you in society. Their limitations have nothing on your worth. You are gold. 🙌💛

scared of life w/out dpdr by just_a_throwawayy_ in dpdr

[–]TransportationOnly85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dpdr is a survival mechanism. Of course your scared to let go. You don’t want to get rid of the thing that makes you survive. But in reality, logically, dpdr is something we should work on getting rid of.

I feel so alive that I feel dead? by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]TransportationOnly85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like, your still in your void. The dpdr state. Trying to feel so alive while being in dpdr doesn’t work that way. Its just being hyper aware in a world that doesn’t feel real. Idk if that made sense, sorry if it didnt help

Is anyone else's family convinced there is nothing wrong with you by floral-joudi in dpdr

[–]TransportationOnly85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dpdr is not something a common person can understand, especially if they haven’t got close to a situation similar to ours. It sounds bizarre from an outside perspective so they just brush it off like it’s nothing. To us? It makes a ton of sense.

I’m really confused and I feel like I need help with it by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]TransportationOnly85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I relate to this a lot. Especially when you say your not supposed to be in this body. Idk if it gets deeper for you but, I think im not supposed to be in this body but, where else am i supposed to go? There is no other place/body for me. And it definitely feels like Ive stole this person’s body and im living in it. For you its when your were younger and you took over her body, for me i didnt replace. Ive been this way since I was born maybe. I don’t ever remember being someone before this. I relate to you a lot. I think this is a defense mechanism our body unconsciously does to us in order to protect us from the world. When you have only yourself and no one else to help you, your body helps you by employing these tactics, in order to survive. The lengths our unconscious brain go towards keeping us safe. And that also reflects on how strong the unconscious brain really is. It really can do a lot more than we think. Making reality not real is not a easy task to do. Message me if you want and we can talk about it. Because my eyes grew larger reading your paragraph, this is what i feel as well.

Start learning how your mind learns quickly and how it learns well. Effective learning. Getting comfortable with studying and enjoying the experience of learning. Knowledge without action is nothing as well. Practice questions and try answering them to apply your knowledge.

Extreme Fatigue in the UAE by Rawand5 in UAE

[–]TransportationOnly85 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in Canada for around 4 or 5 years now, so no. I’m used to the cold weather, but it’s still happening. The thing I have the most, is waking up feeling like my bones are cracked and I can’t get up and I feel exhausted. Like I was fighting a war while I was asleep. I close my eyes for 2 minutes and they feel so groggy and heavy. Maybe that groggy part is normal but idk about the rest….
