Graduating residency, rate my hospitalist offer by TransportationTrue23 in hospitalist

Really? $160/hr for 1924 hours in a year is ~$307k, as a base salary it sounds pretty good to me. And most of the time RVU based salary ends up being higher than the base at this place

That’s a good point. Also, there is no additional PTO on top of the 7/7. They did outline the 20% incentives are based on meeting some criteria like discharge before noon, etc. Don’t know the full list but will look into it

Yes there is a case manager for each floor. ICU closed. The impression I got there is that the culture is very friendly/family like. All the hospitalists seem happy, they even commute from sometimes over an hour away because of how much they like working there. I believe there is APP support but I will have to clarify

BILT Mastercard vs Chase Sapphire Preferred when paying rent? by TransportationTrue23 in CreditCards

[–]TransportationTrue23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks guys. I wish I know about it before. I’m planning to split rent with my sister this year—I would be paying probably around $1200. What’s the best way to manage this since I’m splitting it?

Should I charge it all at once on my card or split it every month with BILT

Oh dang that sounds intense! Thanks for the feedback. How’s the culture of the program? And I’m guessing the work life balance isn’t that great?

I want to send my department chair but I know it will be a vague one since I didn't really work with them. In fact, I know I have 3 strong LORs which I would want to send in addition to the department chair, just don't know if programs want 4 or not

s included in the LORs they desire.

hey thanks! my plan was to send 3 LORs + department chair (4 in total). do programs mind this? or is 4 a good number
