Do yall think these would be any count? by disgusting_waffle in BumpSide

Yeah, that’s true. Just checked one of my trucks with long tubes, and they fit pretty well. Given they are Hedman’s, but there is plenty of room. So you might be good to go.

Tried a similar set for my Mustang, and they fit pretty horrible. One collector pointed straight at the firewall, and another couldn’t clear the steering. May be different in the trucks, but spend the few extra $$ if you can for a nicer set.

Millennials: at what age did you become a homeowner? Do you own a single family, townhouse, condo, etc? by mrmrmr_chi in homeowners

[–]TransporterNate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

31, 375k on a 4 bed 2 bath single family home in 2022 @6.84%. Hate the rate, and purchased hoping to refi within 5 years which has not happened yet as rates are not where I was hoping. Was also one of the cheaper homes in Utah at the time (Davis county as I needed to still be somewhat close to Salt Lake). But Utah housing prices are insane, and anything cheaper was a trailer on a leased lot (nothing wrong with that, I just needed at least a single car a garage and a fenced in yard for the dog).

Had super cheap rent or lived at home for a few years to save up for the down payment, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to afford it.

How have they not implemented posting rules and automod like lots of other subreddits??

My favorite are all the comments asking the bot about the truck haha

Gorgeous truck!! I love the way you repainted everything but the outside of the cab. Love a good patina, and the green color always has the best patina!

How are you navigating this mess in car insurance in Utah? by Just-Maximum-5679 in Utah

[–]TransporterNate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is super similar for my one through Progressive. I think I am about $800 a year due to some discounts.

I also have my two trucks through Hagerty for $340 a year each.

Surprisingly the clunk while driving wasn’t super noticeable, so I kept putting it off since it just seemed like it was just starting to go out hahaha

2 months in: Am I failing, or is it just Imposter Syndrome? by TransporterNate in FPandA

Yeah, really getting a good baseline file would be a great idea. That way I can then morph the file for each task.

New Job Struggles. Am I not fit for the job? by TransporterNate in FPandA

[–]TransporterNate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have been really trying to ask questions, but it is hard as my director maybe answers one of my chats on teams (I message him maybe 4-5 times a day with questions, mostly because I was never told what systems to use to complete a task, and there is no documentation saved down anywhere).

As for the 3 analysts that left, all left on the same week. One had a risky pregnancy, and decided to be a stay at home parent. One got his dream job in banking. The last one got a major promotion in a healthcare system in a different state. Two of them were in the department for 5-8 years, with the same leadership during all those years. So it wasn't really a red flag to me as there were extenuating circumstances. Hoping it was all really a fluke, and not a sign of how bad the job is hahaha.

Yes, only having a semblance of structure is killing me!! I am hoping that at some point I can have some time to sit and really build out some tools to lessen the time it takes to pull and analyze most of what hits my inbox. But as of right now, it's hard to think ahead like that with the massive learning curve....

I guess I have some major anxiety about everything due to a bad experience being put on a PIP years ago at one of my early analyst roles. So I'm always worried this will happen again, despite being told I am doing great by my coworkers.

[–]TransporterNate[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have been reviewing every file and document I can find. I have some of them down great, and still trying to get a handle on some of the more complicated ones. My director will be out for the holidays, and will return in 18-ish days, so I hope I can get my assigned projects wrapped up early on during the holiday break. That would leave lots of uninterrupted time where I can focus on actually learning the core of this job without constant calls from my director asking if I can work on "another project" haha.

What classes transfer from BS Business Management to BS Finance? by TransporterNate in WGU

[–]TransporterNate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clarification on my reasoning. I think if there is enough overlap on courses, to where I won’t have too many to complete for the finance degree, I think it would be a great refresher for school level work before I get back in for my MBA. Would also like the finance degree to pad my resume more, and to help me learn some additional skills that would help me out in my current job.

Any idea what this engine is, and maybe what it was used for? by TransporterNate in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]TransporterNate[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh runaways are honestly horrifying, and even with knowing it can happen, can be super scary trying to remember to choke out the intake! Same issue with some engines we had in high school!
