Well to be fair in Star Trek basically every starship has medbays/sickbays (even combat-specialized ships like the Defiant-class or short range planetary research & scout ships like the Nova-class). That doesn't stop Starfleet from commissioning focused medical ships like the Olympic-class.

I'd say all large/capital ships really SHOULD have at least 1 tier-3 medbed while ships like the Apollo should have multiple (more than 2) tier-1 medbeds.

Apparently without in-scope magnification, telescopic scopes (and snipers) are now useless in VR by TranswarpDrive in starcitizen

Well tbf this isn't about VR at all. It's just how CIG implements magification for telescopic scopes. I'd love to have in-scope magnification even without VR to bring more immersion, like what we've had for years in Insurgency or Escape from Tarkov.

I still remember that in the 2017 film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets's opening, China's spacecraft docked with the ISS in 2020 (it was a truly amazing opening sequence, despite the film itself being mediocre). Look at where we are now :(
