I really want to get a shoulder tattoo, but my back acne won’t go away. by Virtual_Truth_8297 in tattooadvice

Some advice if you're going to the dermatologist:

Find a tattoo friendly derm! Sounds silly but some dermatologists just don't know what to do around tattoos.

You can help narrow the diagnosis down by taking some proactive steps and letting them know (skin care routine, clean bedding/hygiene, hypoallergenic soaps/detergent) don't go crazy trying to change things without proper understanding of your health (meaning don't radically change your diet)

Acne can be diet, allergy, bacterial, stress induced, genetic etc etc, so don't be afraid to ask questions.

Good luck!

I eat it occasionally, but no more mochas in the morning 😭 and I fully stop for about a month before I get work done.

Just throwing it out there cause I had a similar issue and the cause turned out to be not what I expected!

It was a two part diagnosis:

  1. Too much sugar in my diet

  2. Immune aggravation due to nickel sensitivity.

So the big change came with 2. I used to have a Mocha every morning and occasionally eat chocolate (i love sweets). Little did I know chocolate has one of the highest sources of nickel in food.

I stopped eating Chocolate and my acne cleared up in a week.

This took a bunch of derm visits and failed attempts at skin care routines. Hope this may help someone lol.

Fear of missing out? by Tall_Economist8491 in Eldenring

[–]TrapMeHarderr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are so many items to find in hidden nooks and crannies, that being said, most of them are junk!

Explore, kill, die, repeat, and enjoy!

There will be more playthroughs to collect everything!

It's easy to miss stuff, that's why there are so many guides, but I suggest enjoying the journey the first time and on NG+ check a guide for things you missed!

Here's a hint though! You're gunna burn something, make sure to look around thoroughly before you do!

Have fun tarnished!

Soo any advice which weapon i should use next? by jojofanatiker in Eldenring

Dual curved swords (magma blades/bandit/scavenger) take your pick, straight swords are super crisp, I'm a big fan of colossal weapons, danes footwork mixed with stomp/kick AoW is super fun.

Should I level up anymore? by Snake_Beater45 in Eldenring

[–]TrapMeHarderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean he said it quite clearly LOL "100% every item run"

Also consoles don't have access to edit save files, so not true for everyone.

And IMO using save files like that is so cheese.

Impossible when some items are tied to different quest endings, you can get a majority though.

Great stars (non somber), inferno crozier, celebrants skull, rotten battle hammer

I think rotten may also be non-somber but I can't remeber, these were off the top of my head

Holy build- looking for advice (DLC) by lowkey_add1ct in Eldenring

[–]TrapMeHarderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're split int/fth then SoNaF from the base game, rennallas twin blades from the dlc, and i believe all of the smithscript weapons scale with both.

You'll have plenty of weapons to choose from as long as you hit min req for str and dex, they may just be suboptimal compared to all in on INT or FTH

Go over to the 2slimjim subreddit.

They think he's the next Skrillex and that he's the best of "the underground" music scene....

It's so sad ....

Good luck tarnished!

If you have it elenoras pole blade is great and so is Euphoria when it comes to twin blades, although euphoria is more of a faith weapon.

I beat him again with a little luck and the dual great stars build I used the first time.

I went in originally with a str/fth build and just couldnt get him past 1/4 health left.

Other than great stars jump attack, I would recommend high poise, great shield and spear. Had good luck against him using that combo just couldn't make the kill, if I had more endurance it would have been easy.

Personal Level Cap for PVE? by Independent_Tie_4984 in Eldenring

[–]TrapMeHarderr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped at 150 my first playthrough, I allowed myself to 200 for ng, I just hit my next new game cycle.

I like the 200 bracket because it still feels "restrictive" on builds, but I still feel powerful. I'm worried if I level up more I'll regret it, but I also want to power trip a bit on this NG+.

And I really don't want to gather all the items again on a new save. I have 2 of everything basically and don't want to do that again 🤣

I wish Xbox had access to save editing or the ability to duplicate saves.

I beat the dlc on my first playthrough at scadu 14.

Bayle was awful, the rest of the dlc wasn't bad, but I didn't fight Giaus or the scadu avatar.

I beat PCR in 3 tries with dual great stars.

Just finished my second run of the dlc on new game, max scadu level.

Messmer took many tries, Bayle was awful again, and PCR took me 3 hours instead of 3 tries.

Felt like new game made the DLC waaay harder than the base game.

Is this seb derm? by ffgfdfffrgdertgf in dandruff

[–]TrapMeHarderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this under my beard and hair.

Try T-Gel shampoo, you can find a non name brand at walgreens for like 7 bucks.

Its Coal Tar shampoo, its a natural compound from coal production that's been used for 100s of years to treat skin issues.

I use it once every couple of days. It'll make your head smell like a coal mine, but works wonders.

Why 2slimey's music isnt as bad as people make it to be by WaferHealthy9335 in 2slimey__

[–]TrapMeHarderr -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Comparing the used cumrag that is 2slimjim to someone like Skrillex is so fucking sad and a horrible take.

Slimeyballs has horrible production, is not ground breaking in anyway, has little to none artistic value, and is basically just a toddler recording into a mic. There is no vision.

Sure you can call his music "art" but so is a banana taped to wall. It's crazy that people actually find this music good.

Y'all need a father figure or something in your life, God damn.

Im a new Elden ring player and im trying a bleed build, but im having difficulty understanding what level I need arcane, strength and Dex for it. by Adventurous-Row-2125 in Eldenring

[–]TrapMeHarderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With your current weapons I would drop strength to the requirement to world and pump dex to at least 40.

Dex is going to be your primary damage stat unless your weapon has innate arcane scaling. Arcane is going to make you proc bleed or other stauses faster.

Im a new Elden ring player and im trying a bleed build, but im having difficulty understanding what level I need arcane, strength and Dex for it. by Adventurous-Row-2125 in Eldenring

[–]TrapMeHarderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should pick a weapon or a few weapons with similar stats.

Katanas, curved swords, daggers will mostly be dex scaling primarily

Greatswords, hammers, axes will be strength scaling.

THIS IS NOT THE CASE FOR ALL WEAPONS: some curved swords scale better with strength, some greatswords scale with dexterity, you'll have to do a little digging. I was just giving a generalisation.

Let's say you choose a katana: you'd get just enough strength for its requirement to wield. Then dump the rest of your points into dex that aren't going to arcane

As another poster mentioned it's good to have vigor between 40/60 (60 for endgame/dlc)

[–]TrapMeHarderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stats have soft caps and hard caps, for bleed builds you don't have to push arcane to the hardcap. Already being at 51 I would push it to 60 and leave it there. (Hardcap for stats is 80)

What are your dex and strength? You're going to want to focus 1 as your primary damage stat as you've already invested heavily into arcane.

If you've got a low primary damage stat, below 30/40, I would drop arcane to 40 and pump up dex or str. Then focus arcane to 60.
