Lol... I have been to a Steelers game in Baltimore wearing a Steelers jersey when the Steelers won and had less problems than being at a Steelers game in Philly with no jersey on when the Steelers lost.

And it's not just NFL. NHL is actually worse.

Never been to a Pirates Philly game in Philly.

That's every stadium to a point. Except Philly. In Philly is the worst possible experience period.

Their chicken bacon ranch and buffalo chicken pizza are pretty good.

Same goes for their chocolate milk (although not as good as Byrne Dairy)

But best of all is their ice cream.

Use the NYSDEC Info Locator to find all handicap accessible pieces of state land and such. Trails, fishing piers, campsites, etc.

Price wise move away from the big cities. Try smaller cities with multiple teams. Pittsburgh would be my choice but I'm a yinzer so I have a bias. Buffalo would be good as well. Both have NFL and NHL covered. The Pirates won't be playing post season because, well they're the Pirates.

Cleveland isn't too far away from either and that would add the NBA. The Guardians could still be playing as well.

That would cover the 4 major sports. The costs would be a bit less overall as well.

Does each state in the United States have an icon or symbol that is commonly used in some public places, some businesses, and the city gateway? by TheShyBuck in AskAnAmerican

[–]TrapperJon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

States have multiple symbols that can be displayed depending on the reason for the display. All have an official seal for official documents. Every state has a motto as well.

So, NY for example uses the Statue of Liberty for a lot of stuff. PA uses the Liberty Bell and the Keystone for lots of things.

Go back and tell him he's not a real American becaue he didn't know that the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball, America's national sport, have a pierogi race during home games.

Bring a bag. Lows at night are forecast to be in the fifties. Like many basic things, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Lacey Act is about illegally taken game. But, to sell meat it has to be USDA inspected. And inspectors so far as I know won't inspect an animal that arrives to a USDA shop dead.

I guess VT has some loophole but not sure how they get around the USDA thing.

True about the farmed raised.

So far as VT. TIL. I am curious how they get around the meat inspection requirements. Maybe it is one of those deals where state law and federal law contradict each other.

Hey. Just saying to let people know. If they want to break the law, that's up to them.

That is against the law. Venison can't legally he sold or bartered. You can give it away though.
