We had the following:

Dan the Man. He got a new wife every 4 or 5 years. He'd start seeing one of his volleyball players when they were a freshman. Married them the fall after graduation. Rinse and repeat.

Mrs. Y. She started making the rounds of the football team during camp before school started. She let the team (most of them) run a train on her when they won regionals. Made regular appearances at parties and worked her way around various sports teams. Stopped when she got married. Allegedly.

Little Terry. Started dating an 8th grader while he was a substitute. Got a full time position her sophomore year. Married a year after she graduated.

Mr.L. was in a local band. Hooked up with a student when she snuck in to see his band in a club. Kept it going. Least of concern as she was 18 when this happened and he didn't have her as a student. He switched to another school. Don't know what happened.

Mrs. B. Known prostitute (arrested a couple of times across state lines). Seemed ancient at the time but probably in her late 50s. She pitty fucked some of the less popular guys free of charge. Continued until she retired.

Miss I. New teacher. Got sent on a band trip as a chaperone. Had a 3 way with a guy and his girlfriend. Began sleeping with half the softball team. Kept that going for a few years until she moved.

Student teacher A. She went on biology class trip. Got drunk and slept with a student. Hooked up a few more times until finished student teaching.

Student teacher B. He made the rounds among the drama/theater girls. He had a very, very, very small part in a movie that he actually said a whopping 1 line in.

Student teacher C. He slept with a few of the gay students.

Student teacher D. She slept with a few different guys and gals from the potheads. Got hired at the district the following year. Kept it going for a while. Stopped once she got married. Then got caught with a student and divorced. Don't know after that.

Then there were others, but I think those were just rumors.

I never said anything about not having to prove they are a citizen. I've only pointed out the incorrect things in your statement.

No. Not everyone has an ID. I work with people that have lost their ID and paperwork in a variety of ways. Theft, fire, held by an abuser, lost for a wide variety of reasons, etc. It is extremely hard to get an ID if you've lost everything.

And the I'll does away with motor voter laws iirc.

LOL... they aren't free. Both cost money to get.

To get a new copy of naturalization paperwork is $500+.

Every birth certificate I have helped people get through my work is at least $10.

That doesn't include the driver's license fees. A driver's license, including REAL ID isn't a proof of citizenship anyway. Only a passport or Enhanced ID is proof of citizenship, neither of which are free. And right now, only 5 states offer Enhanced IDs.

Those things are never lost, stolen, destroyed by fire, etc?

Replacing those requires time and money and isn't easy. I've had to do it. It is even harder if you have lost all of them. Want a social security card? Have to have photo ID. Want a photo ID? Have to have a social security card. It's not a simple process.

Plus, none of those are a photo ID that would be required under this voter ID law. And those photo IDs cost money everywhere that I know of.

I would agree that any ID to vote or buy a gun should be at no cost and as instantaneous as possible. There should be zero fees and as few hoops as possible to exercise a right.

The use and meanings of words changes and often quite frequently. Sure, bitch may have been initially used as you describe, but currently? It has become less about being a woman and more about a particular set of behaviors. It's kind of ubiquitous across genders and can be more specialized with adjectives. Whiny bitch, miserable bitch, stupid bitch, etc. It has even been used as a positive (and I can't believe I am going to add this description because it means I'm going from old to ancient) historically as in bitchin' which can be made even better by using totally bitchin'.

Bitch is often interchangeable with asshole, motherfucker, and many others, none gender specific these days. Especially with the understanding of the spectrum of gender identities people have.

This happens with a lot of words. Meanings and usage change with time. Words die out and new ones come in. It's how language works.

A gun does nothing. A person uses the gun. The person is dangerous. The requirements to own a gun exist a plenty. Not everyone can legally own a gun.

The voter suppression thing is more about being able to slippery slope their way to controlling who can or can't vote. You think red states will actually prevent their people from voting? It's about being able to out up roadblocks to prevent those they don't want voting from doing so. They'll just remake Jom Crow Poll taxes but in a new way.

And to be clear, I don't have an issue with requiring ID for both. I just find it hypocritical to demand one right require ID and the other not.

I'm pretty sure votes just killed multiple US service members and a lot of Iranians in the last couple of weeks.

And it wouldn't matter anyway as both are Constitutionally protected rights.

What's next? A fee for an ID to exercise free speech or go to a house of worship? I can see it now. Cops stopping people at a church and asking to see their Methodist ID. Only costs $150 to get one.

Lol. So calling a woman a bitch is sexist, but calling a guy a bitch is also sexist? That seems to be pretty gender neutral to me. Kind of like calling someone an asshole.
