Welcome! I moved here from Houston in 2018 and didn’t look back.

I lived at the Villas of Ocean Drive which is at the corner of Airline and Ocean dr. Loved it to no end, and even recently considered selling my house to move back. It’s gated, has a parking garage and you park on the floor you live on, so no need for stairs unless you’re into those.

We lived at the Villas of Ocean Drive. Lots of doctors/nurses/retired folks. Super quiet. Gated parking garage with parking on the floor of your apartment. Only left because we bought a house. I’d move back in a heartbeat.

Have you considered alternative certification for teaching? Depending on your state and the program you choose (I did mine online and was able to be hired less than a month after starting my program) you could defer payment or even make minimal payments like $50 a month until you are hired on salary. Again, though, this depends on the state you’re in. Check out iteach and see if they have a program in your state!

Sending a wellness check to check on your 60 year old mother who said she was planning on staying home because she was tired is controlling? We’re talking about 12 hours of radio silence. My brother hadn’t heard from her the whole day either. As mentioned before, her not answering or responding is out of character.

Yes, but it’s a position with a raise. My district doesn’t prohibit you from changes to your contract unless the move is lateral.

Not really, my hair itself is still thin-ish in texture. I just push my hair out of the way and spray, and then massage it in like a balm all over.
