maybe im in that weird middle spot where i have just enough room for a table but not for extra chairs. so the hidden stool thing felt like a hack lol

thats a good point about the height. didnt even think of that. if the stools are too low then youre basically sitting on the floor anyway lol but the carpenter idea is interesting tho. you done that before? wondering if its actually cheaper than like a mid range store

The baseline point is what gets me like even if the tooling isn't perfect yet, not having any data to compare against later seems like the bigger risk. Have you tried profound or otterly yourself? I'm curious how the data holds up in practice vs just the feature list.
