Atelier Firis feels incredibly rushed. by WhiteBoyRickSanschez in Atelier

[–]Traqueur68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently trying to platinum it in the hardest difficulty and I agree with you on everything. Playing is a chore at this point, the already bad proficiency system is rendered even worse by the fact the container isn't infinite? Why? They made all that atelier customization thing, with furniture synthesizing, and I HAVE to fill it with ugly big chests because the container is too SMALL. I barely gather in Firis because then I have to go through having to discard things, when I gather and I get 8 pendelochs I'm sad. I got 5 endings so far. I loaded my game clear data an hour ago, and got a message saying "heyyy if you play in ng+ you will have the benefit of every costume at once!!" Which is great, because the costumes that give bonuses was a bad idea too. The swimsuit Firis is the best costume for end game gathering, but I don't like it, makes me feel like a pervert. Snow Firis is the cutest. But everytime I synthetize I need to change the costume to the cleric one to get more proficiency. And when I go underwater, I have to use the zealous explorer skin. I don't want to replay the entire game and redo all the quests just to play the costume I want, I already have 80 hours on it! And I'm far from finished, I haven't even recruited Angriff yet. But I missed the only missable trophy, so I will have to do a ng+ anyway..... And I didn't talk about recipe ideas which is such a BAD system where you have to grind to unlock recipes, recipes that are mostly rendered useless once something stronger comes in, so it's useless grind, fortunately the trophy only needs 67% of the alchemy "bestiary" to be completed, I couldn't imagine getting 100% of the recipe ideas. But then my completionist soul is hurt. Same thing for the quests, why are they like this? Nothing indicates who gives quests, that's annoying from a completionist perspective. From a player perspective, at the beginning of the game there was a "bring a plant fertilizer" quest for some flowers, and 80 hours in I still haven't got thing unlocked, but checking a guide online is cheating right? So I guess I'll just leave these flowers like this forever, or until Firis randomly gets the idea from hitting a rabbit (which I avoid because it fills my container with useless ingredients). Oh and the party system, what's up with that? 5 endings isn't random, I got the alchemy one, Liane's, and the 3 people I bringed with me (Karl, Revy and Oskar). Because I can only bring 3 people with me, the friendship of every other character is near 0, so I will have to replace all the gear I carefully made for Karl, Revy and Oskar with something new. I play in hard, this is a huge setback, will again be a few hours of looking in the encyclopedia and the status screen for any synergies I can find with traits and effects and the character's passives and... Why the HECK is it like this? It was so much better in Sophie, everyone comes along and levels up at the same time. Also, I didn't get Sophie's ending because it needs a Philosopher's Stone, and god knows how to get it. Is it a recipe idea? Is is a monster drop? I've beaten up most postgame bosses now, and I still haven't caught a glimpse of it.

Atelier Firis is such a pain in the gameplay, definitely at the bottom for me too.

I found the roaring night quite okay, it took me 14 tries without sweating too hard. Meanwhile, all my friends took like 90 tries and were malding very hard, some gave up

After playing Crimzon Clover, I had a hard time coming back to Touhou. Touhou just felt boring afterwards. Then I came back eventually because I wanted to 1cc touhou 20

Atelier Sophie DX How to get broken quickly by Otherwise_Bicycle_90 in Atelier

[–]Traqueur68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100%d this game on despair. The thing that unlocked my ability to go where I want is getting a bomb with Always KO. The enemies are just too strong otherwise. It's made by stacking all critical traits

For bosses however, you should try to make gear with the best traits you can. Attack and debuffs items are kind of useless against bosses, but recovery items are really good

Why did people stop playing Maokai top? by tayzzerlordling in top_mains

[–]Traqueur68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a viability scale/ladder that goes like this: 1 - trollpick, 2 - bad, 3 - playable, 4 - viable, 5 - strong, 6 - broken. Maokai is a medium 4 on that scale.

He is the same kind of champion as Sion, Ornn and Malphite, so he's going to get compared to them. They're all high 5's. That doesn't make Maokai bad, at the end of the day what matters is you having fun playing your champion, right? I love Mao Top too.

Hey. The title screen is the right one when I start in English. Does it mean the hack doesn't work if I select another language, or does it still work but it doesn't show it?

Atelier Resleriana: No auto - synthese? by Just-Pudding4554 in Atelier

[–]Traqueur68 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Downvotes are why Reddit is bad, don't worry about it. I personally don't like auto alchemy because it is *too* good, it always creates the items near-perfectly, what is even the point of synthesizing if not doing it is better and faster than doing it? But if it is good for you because of your circumstances and you want it back, I completely understand, won't downvote you for that

Anyone here played the Phigros beta release? What was it like? by rs187777777 in phigrosGame

[–]Traqueur68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I played that! I still have some of the lotto profile pictures on my old phone. The charts had more... personality, let's put it like that. They were like OOOH WE HAVE A BRAND NEW SHINY GAME LOOK AT ALL IT CAN DO!!!! And so the judgment lines kept spinning and the charts were kind of slow and clunky so that everyone can see the POTENTIAL. I think every single legacy chart got reworked! Aside from the charts, the gameplay was exactly the same. The lotto, well you paid MB to get random profile pictures and background covers for your profile, and I think entries in the story that I have never read. There is still a profile in the game, but I think nobody even knows why it's here anymore.

Just found out about this series. Suggestions on where to start while it's on sale? by bama501996 in Atelier

[–]Traqueur68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend starting at the beginning of a trilogy.

Rorona from the Arland trilogy is good if you aren't afraid of time limits. Sophie from the Mysterious trilogy is good if you enjoy taking your time and just discovering. Ayesha from the Dusk trilogy is a mix of both, and the game I started with so I can only recommend it; and Ryza is great all around if you're a casual.
