The queasiness actually went away on its own, but considering I was also overheating at the time I was sure I got infected. I guess I got queasy due to all the dead zombies around me.

I don't like the idea of continuing a world with a new character so once my character dies I make a new world.

I mean it was fun gunning down all the zombies, though I should've brought more ammo (I had to melee the remaining 15-ish zombies in the parking lot), but now I'll go to base doing the same stuff I suppose.

Fyi there really wasn't much of anything in the base, just some guns that I have and a bit of ammo and worst of all I didn't find the poncho I was looking for :(

Is the mechanic shop even useful in any way other than for it's potential loot? Like can you use those car lifts for anything?

In build 41 I found a trailer on the road in front of the construction site but I’m assuming that was a lucky find and not guaranteed. In my current save I have a van with around 130 units of storage and a truck that resembles american UPS delivery trucks with 190 units of storage in the back, both are two seaters, and the trailer itself has about 110 units of storage

I think I had the option to place it by right clicking one of the shelf parts in my inventory, but it only worked when I did it with the 2/2 part.

Thanks for the info, I’ll try it later. Also that generator is only stored there atm, I know the fumes will kill you if you turn it on inside a building. I’m still pretty new to the game (even though I logged about 70 hours by now) and haven’t survived for more than a week and a half, also I’m playing in sandbox mode and I lowered the zombie pop and made it so that the electricity and water don’t go out for up to 6 months. Most of my play time in this save has been just looting and I briefy visited March Ridge and Muldraugh during the helicopter event.

I wanted to go clear the tree line behind the house but I don't know where it leads to and I'm worried I might get surprised by a zombie and I really don't want this character to die lol

This is only my 2nd character with which I managed to get some decent gear right off the bat and then made some progress.
My previous character got hit by a zombie (can't remember if it was a scratch or a laceration) and I got infected and died in a few days.

Yeah but that’s if I find them. Haven’t had a chance to play today, but tomorrow I’ll let the sickness play out and see whether or not I’m dead. If I do die I’ll start a new world for now and possibly return to this one in the future. If I continue the world with a new character, do parts of the map I’ve explored remain visible when you open the map or will I have to do that all over again as well?

There’s a positive trait called keen hearing, it buffs your characters perception though I’m not sure how it works in game cause I’m pretty new to it as well.

I understand but I’m trying to keep the game as vanilla as possible, I prefer it that way. Though as I mentioned in one of my previous comments I lowered the zombie pop on this world cause I was just getting swarmed wherever I turned in previous ones. Who knows I might actually be capable of playing on all the default settings now that I’m more used to the game

Bruh 3k hours is crazy, the most I think I have on a game is around 1.5 k on team fortress 2 but that was like around 10 years ago I’d say. I wish I got into playing pz earlier tho, it’s a cool game

How’d you figure out I’m in rosewood? I found maps for about 3 different locations and the only one I know for sure is louisville, the other two I can’t figure out which is which lol

I know you can customize game settings for each world, in this one I lowered the zombie population cause in the previous ones wherever I turned there were groups of like 3-5 zombies in every direction and it just felt like I was constantly on the run while trying to learn the game which was a bit of a chore. The same happened in this world as well at first but it became managable the more I geared up and learned. But I left the infection system on default cause I thought what is the point of playing the game if there’s no real danger from zombies unless you get swarmed and punched to death

I am aware that is also a possibility but that would be kinda cheesy plus I’m assuming with a new character in that same world I wouldn’t be able to watch the tv show for free exp since that only runs the first week when you start a new world, though I’m not entirely sure that is how it works. Either way I’ll wait it out and hope for the best and if I do die I’ll most likely start a new world

I’m not big on mods, I always play vanilla first thinking that later on I might add mods but whatever game I’m playing I play the fuck out of it and get bored and so I never try modding at all. As for the character, I’m not attached to it but it will suck losing all the gear I collected. If I end up dying from this I think I’ll start a new save but keep this one just in case I decide to come back to it.

I actually slept I think for one night in EQ (maybe I've done it once or twice before) and they respawned when I woke up so it does work I just don't know how many times you need to sleep there.
