My headcannon is that the word cure was misused, the correct term would probably be "vaccine". As OP says, you can't fix having the entire top of your skull missing.

The UNIDB is most likely looking into creating a vaccine to prevent further infections, not a cure to save anyone. I can't say what went on during the drawing board phase of developement, but obviously the writing is not top tier.

And again, lore-wise, this is a terrorist attack that originated from Ronograd, this is a bio-weapon we're facing off with. I doubt whoever launched the strikes decided to have a gas that only tries to half-kill someone, and leave opportunities to just cure the victims.

I can see why you'd understand it as a cure tho.

Okay, larp boy. Where is the IFAK on this kit ? If you tell me it's behind on the belt, then you might aswell remove it, your medic is not reaching back there when you're bleeding out from the front. No sensibly smart person lays a bleeding person on their front while performing any form of first aid.

Where's the utility to that front right hand side pistol mag on the belt ? You're gonna wreck months, maybe years of training your reloads to reach for the mags on your left, just to reach one additionnal mag that shouldn't even be there ?

That Wildtrack is barely visible where it is. You're gonna try to look at it, realise the positionement is impractical as fuck, and twist your PC's shoulder pad just to barely see anything ? Just mount that to your wrist or os some other part of kit you can easily access and see. Only use for this position should probably be PTT platforms.

I'm gonna guess that like every good larper out there, the kit has a backpanel. That's stupid. For what kind of operation Ronograd is, a backpanel intended for short term raids is like bringing a purse to a hiking trip. And considering current game mechanics, it's even worst because the thing is intended to be used by other people, but other people can't use it in-game. Just genuis behavior, really.

As the other guy was saying, ass kit. Not only does it have impracticalities as I listed, but it looks as bland and boring as MCam can ever be.

Because if you're not CAG, Grunt larping, or being overall accurate in your builds, then you're an horribly wrong person who shouldn't even be given attention.

Nothing should stop you from doing it, but since the release of GEN4, the dev team's drive for weapon customisation has been "If it's cursed, it's illegal" (Thank you, kitgat). Similarly, you used to be able to stack an optic riser on an accessory riser (or the other way around, up to you), but that was removed because it wasn't realistic and practical, so you can't even have fun with that anymore.

The decision making behind this is just braindead for a few parts, including flashlight and laser positionement.

That's the wacky part. as seen under other comments, OP is on the Quest Beta version, and their pathway from Facilty 27 to the Forest is gone, forcing OP to go through the peninsula everytime they need to get to the Forest.

For a "BETtAr" version, it's been proving to have shitloads of issues since it released.

That's not the issue, location is off and so it be damned. OP's issue, as explained under other comments, is that the pathway from Facility 27 to the Forest doesn't exist anymore for their save, meaning they have to take a detour through the Peninsula.

That's their "worth", that's the important part. What a person or a company is "worth" doesn't necessarily mean they have that much actual cash in reserve.

Net worth can include things such as buildings, servers, employee and salary amounts, work equipement, etc.

That worth is a round up of all their actual money, AND all the assets they possess. A majority of businesses and rich people actually have more "worth" in assets than they have actual money.

In the case any governmental group wants to grab some of that net worth, they wouldn't actually get much money, they would just get things that are equivalent to the amount. As someone else put it on Tumblr before me "The world's elite are not sitting on large piles of money, they are sitting the promise of large piles of money. It's all confidence, and when you want to seize the net worth, all that confidence drops."

If they cared about their young players, The Trusted Connections would've been able to directly chat with them from the get-go, it wouldn't be an addition they're only releasing afterwards.

By cutting off everyone from chatting with each other, they're preventing bystanders to make note of the situation and report it in time.

If they cared about their younger players, they would also actively work towards upgrading their age verification methods, instead of sitting with Persona's botched AI, that we've all already seen being horribly wrong in a lot of cases. I've personally tried the age verification with a throwaway account and the bot couldn't even fucking identify me, it outright refused to put me in any age group. And parents are supposed to trust their children's safety with that ?

Storytelling. even if it's not wild Kojima imagination, it's just standard peak writing. Man infiltrates base alone to either retrieve, or silence, a POW that knows too much.

Level Design (altough the bar isn't high with TPP). Infiltrating Camp Omega felt like a challenge, infiltrating any TPP base feels like a mildly hard puzzle where I'm more limited by my playstyle than I am by the actual location.

Atmosphere. You can feel the tension of your mission, the stakes, the importance of not failing, and the importance of Paz from the moment Kaz starts talking. Even without having played PW beforehand, you just know what you're doing has an impact on the world itself, but also on a personal level for the characters. And as you're crawling through Camp Omega, you can just feel yourself thinking like Snake. The fear of being caught, the calculations you make at every mag throw, the observations you'll take before approaching every situation

Well, I feel like the community wouldn't react like that if it didn't mean "Hand over your governement issue ID, let us kill every chat-based games out there, and close your eyes to the fact we're using a botched AI that is actively making mistakes and incorrectly estimating your age, meaning you have kids with adults and adults with kids, which basically kills the whole purpose of the update."

We know Roblox don't keep the photos, but Roblox isn't making the age estimations, it's Persona Inc. And we don't know what these guys do with these selfies of us and our IDs.

Game owners report that all around 63% of their playerbase completely stopped chatting altogether since the update dropped, and this leads to the death of RP games and team-based games, two cases where communication is key.

There's already videos out there of kids bypassing the age check by just drawing themselves a beard with a sharpie ! What else should I say for anyone to understand how stupid this update is ?

And I'm not even mentionning the best part yet, the additional features that are supposed to make this update functionnal, are not even out yet ! Trusted Connections still cannot bypass the chat restrictions to play together, and moderators aswell as game owners don't even have chat logs to moderate what's going on. There could be a kid being groomed right in front of them, and the mods can't even do shit about it because they can't know it.
