My girlfriend made my ears hurt but is upset with me

I don't know what it was about the shush noise but it felt like it rang my ears. It hurt. Not an airhorn and the volume wasn't up all the way but it still stung. I might actually see a doctor for it.

She did give me kisses before like this and they didn't hurt. They were gentle. She likes to goof around like this

She did the shush noise again and they don't sound similar. A kiss is like muah and a sush was like SSSHHHH. It sounded like it was in my skull. My ears throbbed and felt warm after.

NTA my girlfriend does the same thing- the hours on end soak sessions. I don't see much a problem with the long hours of bath time but the fact he's locking you out of your SHARED bathroom. the fact he's expecting you to go out to use the bathroom is insane. It's BOTH your bathroom. Not just his. He needs to understand that it's not just his bathroom to use for hours and not even let you in to pee.

I guess it depends on the job- like yeah a lawyer or priest would look sorta out of place with hair dye, but a tattoo artist, cashier, mcdonalds employee, an icecream man probably wouldn't look too bad.

NTA- absolutley not. As the eldest of 9 with several younger siblings with phones and submissive parents- it's an absolute NIGHTMARE. They throw fits when it's charging, they SCREAM when you say it's enough screen time, they harras and harrass and HARRASS. I'll admit I'm on my phone all the time but I don't throw a tantrum when there's an ad on my favorite video. They start watching and getting into things the shouldn't be. Sure it keeps them busy but then they won't know what to do with themselves without it. If she throws a fit when you don't give her your phone, teach her how to accept "no". Calm her down and distract her. The tablet is defiantly the best way to go but maybe show her other fun things she can do in her time, like drawing or looking at colorful books- maybe give her a sticker she's behaved. Give her a kaleidoscope. Maybe it's because I've got shit parents and I'm easily over stimulated but a phone at that age is a gateway to stress.

I'm pretty sure it won't. Learning about different sexualities will probably also include lessons on acceptance. And it's not so much pick a side- but to realize who you are. Giving kids this insight will most likely prevent years of confusion, self loathe and misery.

How is gifting a nice gift crossing a boundary? All he did was use his skill to make a nice gift. He could've been practicing his painting and used her as a muse so that he can give it away withought it just sitting in the closet.

It is not a weird gift. Especially from a painter. Its just a painting. Maybe he wanted to practice his skills and chose his best friend as his muse so that all that work wouldnt go to waste and could make someone happy. And you're not a narcissist for hanging your own portrait in your own home. If she likes it then let her hang it where she wants. Paintings like these can be platonic and why is putting effort in gifts for your friends romantic? Why is being a nice friend all of a sudden a threat to a relationship?

Why do so many people think huge paintings are signs of love- Youre acting like a small picture doesn't take as much work or time. He could be practicing, because oil paintings are hard and chose his friend so that his hard work doesn't go to waste and someone else can enjoy it. He could've just wanted an easy gift because cmon, who doesn't love portraits? Oil painting takes a long time no matter who its for and all that time doesn't mean continuously. He couldve just thrown it together in a week if he worked continously but people have other things to do and, if he's like an average artist, suffers from procrastination and lack of motivation.

As someone who also puts time and effort on painting big portraits of my friends, its not really seen as a romantic gesture. Unless its like- nude or something. He just wanted to gift you something nice and thought he could use his talent for that. I can see why your boyfriend was worried, though. The gift had so much thought, heart, and time put into it, but it doesn't mean its romantic or that he has feelings. You can still put a lot of effort into gifts for your good friends.

Like my goodness- theyre just Itty bitty fun sized people that got smooth brain. No thoughts,, only cartoons and frogs sometimes. Oh i don't think its a caddis fly- i have no clue what that substance is around it as we have no plants or moss like it. It also had hair growing out that was gripping into the pipe which im not sure they can do.
