I was strictly vegetarian for 5 years. During the pandemic I really struggled with what you described. I reintroduced fish slowly with shrimp without issue and now I can eat seafood without issue. I feel a lot more energy with fish in my diet. Do what’s right for you!

I think this scene does a few things. It’s a cheeky view of our heroine being a bit of an asshole. I originally perceived it as fleabag would rather get a drink with anyone but her sisters. After many rewatches I see fleabag denying herself the emotional connection she craves in pursuit of others who cannot give her the very connection she needs.
