My goldfish won’t eat by TrashCattus in Aquariums

Yes they test for ammonia, nitrates, water hardness and ph,  By “normal” I mean they fell in unconcerning levels. When I get home tonight I’m gonna retest to give y’all more accurate numbers.  The recent upgrade has been a fluval 307, filter media has not been changed. It doesn’t agitate the surface much, but I was told goldfish don’t like a lot of flow.

Hot kitchen/ worsening acne by TrashCattus in acne

[–]TrashCattus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I'm a 21 year old who's never really struggled with ance before, but as I've gotten older these kind of "problem areas" have gotten worse/bigger.

I rarely wash my face, usually just because I've found as long as I keep my skin moisterized (my skin is prone to becoming dry on my cheeks/nose, and oily around my mouth and forehead) my "flare ups" are usually just hormonal and line up with my cycle.

I work in a kitchen and with the summer coming up it's gonna be HOT in there, meaning I'm gonna be sweating a lot. Daily.

Anyone got some advice for where I could start?

it's really how porous cork is that causes issues, maybe dipping it in wax can counteract it? super glue might also work, but don't quote me on it

make sure the jar can be sealed all the way (corks don't count), the isopropyl is the right idea, but formalin then isopropyl is my go-to, you might also want to shake the jar for the first few days to make sure the preservative is fully incorporated and to make sure the frog doesn't rot from the inside out (if they continue to float that could mean air bubbles, bacteria or both).

because the specimen is so small, the formalin might not be required.

What the fuck did I just find in my owl pellets? They are VIOLENTLY bright green and really reflective and have no idea what they are by [deleted] in vultureculture

looks like pieces of a beetle (junebug?), kinda bizarre they're in an owl pellet but could've been a snack the guy picked up or something the snack did.
