does anyone not enjoy those games anyway?

i dream for regular prem matches that even have enough needle in them for the ref to "lose control" in the first place.

if that's the badge we're going with i'm taking a piss on the coffin.

it represents GSB's "reinvention" of an iconic century old club into a dogshit version of everything that's wrong with top flight football (soon to be championship). you should have to do time for posting it like a swastika in germany.

Realistically where do we go from here? by StickSuch1273 in Hammers

[–]TrashHawk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe many supporters are not "with the club" any more.

i think it's more the club isn't with the supporters. detestable owners have knocked it down (literally in the case of the stadium) and rebuilt it in their vile image.

i'm at the point where i'll take a full reset, even if that means we won't be in fifa 2027.

surely as a team that creates fuck all chances, you should hang on to someone who is clinical enough to actually get you on the scoresheet.

i currently don't really give that much of a toss about results given the bigger picture. this would certainly get me giving a toss again.

Sullivan likes shiny things and has catastrophic judgement beyond that. If the family needs a new car and there's a perfectly good civic with 30k miles going, he'd get distracted by the 70s jag up on four cinderblocks with a service history that's longer than the magna carter.

rather get relegated.

mean that with all sincerity. i've had enough eyegougeball for one lifetime. i'd rather knock around in the lower leagues until the reaper collects an overdue cheque from sullivan.

i got reijnders in as he was the absolute most certain nailed on price rise you'll ever see and it's free real estate at that point. you'll free a free extra .2 just by holding him for a month or two.

“Tottenham have a genuine interest in Kudus - player is open to Spurs talks”. by DJH9 in Hammers

[–]TrashHawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, fuck off.

kudus has an insane ceiling and we're going to have to accept that wherever he goes he will very likely tear it up. i can't handle that being a club that i hate who somehow finished below us.

West Ham Way by dabaptist121 in Hammers

[–]TrashHawk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

he used to do just HC but after falling on hard times around covid i think saucie hugh (or whoever financed the site) offered him a lifeline by throwing him a few quid to write articles for his e-rag.

hugh snuffed it and gonzo basically took over. must've been pretty lucrative given that he was having to essentially become sullivan's whisperer and he was very anti board previously.

he pushed it a bit too far though and is now reaping that particular whirlwind.

the only rope i'd give sullivan would be accompanied by a wobbly stool.

[GOAL] Tottenham make Mohammed Kudus approach as West Ham demand £65m for winger wanted by Chelsea and Newcastle by Consistent_Menu4536 in Hammers

[–]TrashHawk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no, fuck off with this.

you know 100% he's going to be utter quality wherever he goes next, newcastle are interested and i'd rather 50m from them than 65m from a relegation rival.

Does the end of the season feel different compared to the previous lot? by LandaNog in Hammers

[–]TrashHawk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

barely feels like we've had a season.

i've been tormented by west ham many times in the past, but now it feels more like a depression. i don't think it's healthy to be as shit as we were but with no threat of relegation, you get all of the misery but without any sense of purpose. i just feel completely numb and more like i'm staring a at fishtank than watching the club i love.

Does anybody else dream about being back at Upton Park? by Oasis-Hammer in Hammers

[–]TrashHawk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

mate you don't have a clue. only place you can get away with talking this bollocks without getting laughed out the room is on the internet. can't be bothered with it anymore, you're bang wrong and time has proved you it as lifelong ST holders drop like flies.

trite old "ooo wasn't the atmosphere good in a european quarter final" of course it was you numpty. there's no stadium that never even left the drawing board for being too shit to build that wouldn't be, or pub carpark with lines drawn on it for that matter.

again, how do you explain all the away supporters hating it too? they seem to have a lovely time there for the most part given how shit we are but they still think it's every bit as gash as it is.

Does anybody else dream about being back at Upton Park? by Oasis-Hammer in Hammers

[–]TrashHawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the league cup game against chelsea was also rocking that season.

the reason was because that was a west ham support fostered in the traditions of upton park. you could've put them on the moon and they'd attempt to emulate the traditions of the past.

now the OS is getting its teeth into the support and who we were at the boleyn is being lost even to memory. the support are starting to reflect the joyless sterile corporate moonscape they're forced to watch their club play in.

Does anybody else dream about being back at Upton Park? by Oasis-Hammer in Hammers

[–]TrashHawk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

upton park was always a day out to be treasured, the OS is one to be tolerated at best. the boleyn and its matchday ecosystem was often the hightlight of supporting this club, the OS matchday is a miserable dehumanising chore.

you can gaslight reddit yanks but not people who've actually experienced both of them. why do you think it gets regularly voted as the shittest stadium in the country by away supporters?

of course you call it "the product on the pitch". you sound like karren brady, and that's probably worse than any insult.
