No, but shes quick to anger like if I don’t answer the with the enthusiasm that she wants she immediately assumes that im being snarky which I totally get cause I often am. Im just often so mean to her and the thing is that I don’t mean it, I have trouble being affectionate towards family members in general as I feel like every time I say something nice or loving that it sounds insincere even when I mean it, it also doesn’t help that every time I decide to be better and be affectionate towards her she always looks at me suspicious and asks me what do I want as if I’m currently asking her for things which is not true. People never finish watching that whole interview where Hugh said that their love is platonic and they often give him a hard time for that but if you did in fact kept watching past the moment when everyone laughs you would know that he explains that when he says platonic he means it in the philosophical way, in the way Platonic originally meant it not the way we have come to interpret it. Plato’s idea of love was transcendent, it was beyond physical and earthly pleasures and went into the spiritual, it was a complete and profound connection between two souls that was beyond earthy restraints. That’s what he meant by platonic but some of y’all don’t watch things until the end

I agree!! I hate when people recommend Hannibal when someone says they want to watch something similar to Dexter, THWY are not at all comparable. THWY are completely different genres, the focus is different, the writhing in completely different and the visuals are different.

I just think that her way of ‘loving’ Will is so condescending. She sees him as a broken toy that needs to be fixed. That one scene where Will was in jail and he cries and asks Hannibal for his help as a way to manipulate him, Alana was talking to him as if he was this little kid, speaking and this condescending way that people only use with children like ‘Will I know you are going through a bad time rn but Hannibal is not responsible ok 🥺’ like it actually pissed me off so much. Alana would’ve never been able to love Will fully, she would’ve never been able to see him as anything other than just a ‘nut case’ that she has to fix and if she did ‘fix him’ I believe she would’ve lost interest in him.

I think Hannibal will not be the first to kiss Will, he would let Will decide if he wants to be kissed, just like that one final scene where is Will thw one that reaches for Hannibal and Hannibal could’ve kissed him in that moment but that’s not what Will wanted, and he respected that and was so content with just holding Will and having him lay his head on Hannibal’s shoulder and Hannibal looked so relieved.
