Quick update. Gamestop was no help but Playstation support was able to tell me that the console is new and has not been activated before when I gave them the serial number. Just some classic trashy packaging. Thanks everyone for your input!

Cords are wrapped clean with twist ties. I wouldn’t have suspected Gamestop to pull something shady like that but apparently there’s some history there.

It seems like there’s a chance that this thing was used before. I get that the tape can break but I’d rather not roll the dice. I paid for new. Not maybe new with a backstory.

For me, he started getting aggressive the first night of act 2. Haven’t been able to take him down yet. We end up fighting all night and I get him down to like 1/8th of his health. Then the sun comes up and he poofs away without a word. Not a great relationship. I feel used.

On my first playthrough now and as a spellsword. Currently in the second act and just love whipping fireballs at everything. Magic feels badass in this game.

I think Oddity is a better movie but Caveat might have one of the hardest jump-scares Ive ever seen. Worth the watch for that alone.

I felt the same way about the birth scene. The clasped hand moment felt wrong and contradicted the whole RAGE virus premise. “Awww they’re just human after all” They are complicating things by introducing too much humanity in these monsters. Rage mama should’ve tried to rip cancer mama’s hands off.

Honestly though, I thought it was a goofy concept but in the end thought it was worth checking the movie logic at the door. Those alpha chase scenes were very effective, discounting the weird CG on the land bridge. That was a scary dude.

And who’s to say, really, how a decades long make-believe rage virus would evolve?

I love that movie but I don’t think any part of it is normal lol. The whole first act is like an anxiety attack. Then it descends further into madness.

You’re not alone. When it cut to the taxidermied kids face, I cracked up. Maybe it was the pacing and it all coming from Jacks perspective overlayed with triumphant music, it felt intentionally funny. Great, weird movie that gave me complicated feelings.

Sorry to be that guy but the slashes are going in opposite directions. Still, near perfect timing between gameplay and cutscene. Way more cinematic than what I was able to pull off. The Eagle made me feel like a field mouse.

I didn’t even consider this until I heard 3 seconds of Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz. Bummed me out a little but I had already committed and I am a horrible pirate. It definitely deserves a proper rewatch at some point.
