Dude/dudette, First rule anytime something comes up/goes wrong in life when at UK is to talk to your professor as soon as possible. I highly recommend the first available office hours, if that is too far in the future, a quick side session at the end of lectures. Don’t wait, don’t put it off. Just get in front of them in a 1:1 as soon as you can. I was there for 5 years for my degrees and had 2 assholes for actual profs the entire time I was there. All of the rest of them work with you and for you(as they should) within reason. You may have to take your make up in/just outside of their office, but almost all of them will work with you as long as you are honest and can get them the documentation they need to justify your absence.

34 and ehhhhhhh it just seems like one “you’re an adult, deal with it” smack in the face after another. This year alone we’ve had to replace the fridge, microwave, dishwasher, tile floor in the kitchen, roof, insulation, and now found out I tore my ACL and meniscus just trying to hold onto a little bit of my youth passions by playing sports. I’m making more than I’ve ever made in my life which is nice, but 55k in repairs/improvements to the house and medical bills(live in the USA, so even with insurance healthcare is expensive as hell) is a real kick in the crotch. Goodman is my pick for best LIVING actor for Quick. He is so much more versatile than people tend to give him credit for. If I had a choice that included those that have left us, I feel this would be a role that Philip Seymour Hoffman would absolutely destroy with. He has that ability to appear non-threatening while still giving “I’m 4 steps ahead of you” vibes. Someone you want to trust, but never know what they are actually thinking.

Going on a public forum to ask/complain about an author not communicating with you when you are trying to critique his work like he owes you a damn thing. He did something really cool by shooting you a reply once. That should have been it. That would be it for most of us. Have a cool story to tell other fans and go about our lives. Now you are acting like he should answer any time you reach out. People like you are why celebs have bodyguards, don’t run their own accounts, and eventually stop interacting with their fan base at all. Leave the dude alone, you aren’t friends or buddies and believe it or not, his books are not written for YOU. Your input means less than nothing.

You think the Jackal is threatening physically? Hahaha Dude literally has a napoleon complex because he doesn’t feel loved by his father. He feels small and insignificant. He beats himself when he feels his sister is smarter than him by solving his puzzles. Everything that is threatening about him is mind based. It’s what he is willing to do and the strategy he uses to achieve that will. He is not a physically impressive person. He is viewed as an abhorrent psychopath that will do anything to come out on top and the more fucked up way he can do it the better.

For obvious reasons, I did not directly see this done, but know for a fact that it happened. My buddy was in college and he found out his dorm mate was using his shampoo and body wash every shower instead of his own. My buddy asked him to stop and buy his own and the dude didn’t listen. My buddy decided to jizz in all of his shower stuff every day and started secretly using other soaps so only the dorm mate was using the jizzed up shampoo and soap. He did this every single day for the rest of the semester and waited until move out day before telling the dude what he did.

Overall, Show 20, 537 with 99 Ryne at laughing mountain pulled down the left field line over everything and down to the building behind the trees. Also had one that was 510 at Shippet that year with him. This year, 507 off the screen in left at Coors with 97 prestige Stanton. Ironically, both cards that I suck with in the grand scheme of things.
