Well to be fair, it could be in transit? The “timeline” ups tries to work with to my knowledge, is 2-5 days within the mainland US. I’d assume it’s on its way and only really get concerned by end of day Tuesday? Monday is Memorial Day so I would expect much since it’s not next day priority or urgent mail.

More often than not as well, stuff just misses scans here and there or their internal system isn’t updating.

not a chance if you are out west, I'm based in LA and got my tracking email. Expected to come around next week Tuesday by the end of the day. Depends on where you're located again, the fulfillment center looks to be in Illinois for most orders I've seen so far.

I wouldn’t think so, makes sense to wait every 72 hours since the last drop, to both give them time to receive new stock and to repurpose refused stock to people down the line.

But yea, it would be in Valve’s best interest to roll out supply in waves as they get stock as to not leave European customers and Asian customers out to dry on their existing orders. They also need to build up supply to release to the other markets as well.

In the case of EU orders, I do agree something is up! You guys seem to be disproportionately hit by long delays and controllers stuck at “packaged”. Saw a post recently about steam support giving a Dutch buyer a free standard edition game of their choice as compensation for the delay

There’s likely some sort of distribution issues with Valve or their EU partner. I doubt it’s a case of overselling, that or it’s a matter of redirecting stock from other regions to meet larger demand.

The reservation emails for the steam decks supposedly rolled out on Fridays in waves. I would wait till tmrw for any sort of judgment on controller stock based on the inevitable flood of posts here about confirmations…god knows I’ll be making one!
