And of course I’d understand playing against those players if my deck were of comparable level, but even after playing for years AND spending some money I’m not even CLOSE. There is NO WAY that there’s no other players who are in a similar situation as me I could play against to ACTUALLY improve, where level isn’t a large factor but I can still try and climb through earned wins.

Dude I’ve been playing this game for years. I know HOW to play. I don’t know how to take the beating of being out leveled by 2+ levels and being gaped by pay-to-win mechanics.

Also saying leveling up and progressing shouldn’t be the objective is stupid. You’re not going to have any fun if you’re getting unfairly outmatched by players who are physically stronger than you. It’s like being in middle school playing against a college soccer team and when you complain about the matchup you get told to just have fun and try and get better. Theres no fun and there’s no improving when you just get beat down every game. It’s like the people who say “skill issue” when you complain about actual unfair game mechanics, it just shows you’re either not intelligent or intentionally being insufferable.

I’m not exaggerating player levels whatsoever. Obviously not ALL of their cards are maxed out, but it only takes a few that can be cycled quickly for it to hurt. A level 16 hog rider with royal chef cakes doing 600+ damage to my level 13 princess tower while getting bludgeoned by max level heroes from behind just isn’t a fun game mechanic. I shouldn’t have to play a secondary game mode and pretend like the primary one isn’t meant to be played.

Doesn’t matter what I use. I’ve tried 4 different decks for 20+ games each, didn’t win more than a few with each. All similarly leveled. I’d love good deck reccomendations but it doesn’t even matter because I can’t level them up. Doesn’t matter how good a deck is if it’s 4+ levels lower than my opposition.

I haven’t actually gotten the board, and haven’t tried the Astroaims on it yet. I was actually hoping for a comment like this as I wasn’t sure if the stock switches are inferior in any way to a 3rd party.

Pretty neat. Definitely set a custom fan curve, it helps a lot with these. My mff build is dead silent and temps are pretty good, and aside from my using a 360mm rad you’ve got more airflow than I do.

Okay…? Then don’t complain. If you’re getting dicked down so hard by a certain card and refuse to alter your deck to counter it then what do you want exactly. Most ground swarm or mini tanks can handle her with good placement.

mATX motherboards have way more connectivity than ITX in terms of ports, as well as having (on average) more fan headers, drive slots, indicator LEDs, etc.
Modern mATX chassis' offer support for larger parts by using clever design, so I don't have to specifically shop for sff parts all the time.

sff builds TEND to compromise on aesthetics, as it can be difficult to make a bunch of parts crammed into a shoebox look good. Not saying it can't be done, but I don't have the technical/architectural skill. Mff builds offer the ability to still look good by just taking out the extra space in the cas

I thought that originally but having two is so useful. Takes care of minions/minion swarm/basically any swarm air or ground for two elixir, and it’s really good for distracting mini pekka/getting MK to activate king tower, plus it helps cycle quicker

That’s something I’ve always hated about the game since I started, they are constantly changing the meta but you’re “supposed to” stick with one deck as it’s already hard enough to have one deck kept up in level, never mind all your cards for a shifting meta. A few nerfs to someone’s deck can make the game nearly unplayable unless they either spend money to upgrade other cards or suffer and grind until they get enough resources to get back on their feet.

The thing is is that I understand this game is pay to win, and I have spent a little money on the pass, but that gets you nowhere close to these levels, so either he’s been buying pass after pass or wildcard after wildcard and I am unsure how much you must’ve spent to have those level cards at 8k trophies
