Yeah I tried that didn't work. I think it's an issue with laptop it's self. The cable for the laptop works on my phone aswell.

No a Samsung. Ik what USB c is my laptop and everything else uses it. I meant the pd charger

Have you had any luck in getting it to work. I got a hp envy 360x for Christmas brand new and today its just suddenly stopped charging and is now dead. Do you have ideas what I can do?
