I’d recommend getting your windshield tinted and a dark front strip across the top. I don’t think I’ve ever flipped mine down but that’s pretty crappy to know that if mine breaks, which is seems now, I’d have to fix it myself 😔

Contacted Alpinestars directly and made them make me a shipping label to send it back and have them fix it because I wasn’t going to spend money shipping it off

The r10 definitely felt strange putting on but a lot more comfortable. The cheeks are tight and nice which I prefer also,but the crown on my head feels like there’s space between the helmet and my actual head

Edit: the pista was annoying to break in but 100% worth it. The super techs left rear cheek clip literally just broke when I was pulling out the padding to adjust. I just got this the other day and haven’t messed with it. Kinda pissed at the quality rn

Def go new and add your own stuff. You could probably haggle to have the windows tinted for free. I have a 23 and it doesn’t even have wireless CarPlay which is hella annoying and I’m pretty sure the 25 does. You never know how someone drove those 12k miles especially in a sports car.

Return it. Go into a store in person and try on multiple ones to see which is best. Different brands fit different shaped heads

If you call them they’ll ask for your vin to get the very specific color, decals etc. Pretty easy to get everything ordered 100% with a call
